A stylus is a joke and Ive use a stylus since the Treo700 days. The Apple Pencil is not a Stylus. It’s a very impressive device. IMO Steve would be very happy with what the Apple pencil offers.

A decade of iPad and I still cant decide what *my* preferred size is. I always thought I wanted the biggest iPad you can buy for multitasking and stuff but lately Ive resorted to simply using two old iPads at once (using iCloud and Continuity to keep things in sync) and its been awkward but great. I still want new hardware but it does feel good to put old hardware to work.

Anything larger, and also heavier, to the iPP 11" would fundamentally change the way I would need to handle it. I often use my tablet in bed, laying on my side holding it in the one hand. Bigger, even if it was at the same weight, would make that significantly more difficult. I also take it out with me most times and there's a limit to how big that can be without it being unwieldy. The 11" is already beyond that due to its width.
The only way I'd accept something exceeding the current sizes is if it replaced my MacBook Pro… and that ain't happening any time soon. And there's a limit to how big I'd accept that to be too.
I have other things that are bigger to watch things on… I simply don't need nor want everything to be super-sized.

If I ripped off my MacBook Pro's 15.4" screen and it magically turned into an iPad, I would be happy with that iPad. I would ditch the Mac for that.
Lol, I do that with PDF markup. I actually did buy an Air 3 for Logitech Crayon support so I can use the same Crayon on two iPads seamlessly. We have been through this before when the 12.9 was released. The debate would be much more pleasant if people add "for me" or similar.
I would like a 20-24 inch desktop Pad that I can connect via sidecar to a Mac if I need or use standalone. Ideally, the iPad would big enough to have a standing A4 on half of the screen in landscape mode. If it is a viable or popular need, I have no clue. However an Apple designed (cheaper than XDR) display that double as a iPad (or vice versa) might increase the customer base for such a device.

A 15’’ iPad Pro could replace a Cintiq for many artists and in general be a great design & illustration device. As well as for consuming media, movies and gaming of course.
Amazed the lack of vision by so many posters here. They cannot imagine a larger ipad as a digital
control surface, music notation playback device or art canvas. All they can think of is an ipad that

I don't care about any of the use cases you mentioned. I would like a 14" for some of *my* use cases but if I had to limit myself to just one iPad, I'd opt for 10.5/11".
The question is "Would *you* buy a 14 or 15 inch iPad Pro?". Obviously, people are going to respond based on their preferences and use case. Given the question, the *for me* is implicit in the replies. I don't see how it constitutes a lack of vision when it's simply something an individual has no personal interest in.
Same here, if I had to choose one it would be 10.5/11... But I have virtually all sizes (7.9, 9.7. 10.5 and 12.9) and would buy a 14-15 inch in a heartbeat... I use the 12.9 mainly in portrait mode, contrary to my other ipads and I have use cases for a larger one, to the point that I have been considering a surface book 15, but cannot justify spending $2000 for use in portrait (especially if I need to have the heavy keyboard attached with its gap to have some decent battery life...).
Will it happen? I highly doubt it unfortunately....
I'm looking at the Pros now. When comparing them on Apple's website the Pro 11 and my old (dead) Air 2 are significantly close in size. The 12.9 Pro almost looks like it would be unwieldy (to me) as a tablet. If I wait long enough the stores will reopen and I could feel for myself. I may hold off to see if the Air gets face ID and thinner bezels. If I can't, I may just order the Pro 11.
The older people get the more they will answer “Yes” to this question; ageing eyes which, unless you buy them often, glasses can’t keep up with. Me, I’d like a 17” Macbook Pro and a 15” iPad Pro thanks Apple.
Also the more I think about Apple Arcade and iOS gaming, it would just make sense to have a 15’’ or 16’’ iPad Pro. It could be great as a gaming device and bigger screen and an Apple branded game controller too.
These aging eyes (65) wouldn't go for the 14 or 15 inch IPP. For me, I think the 12.9 IPP would be pushing it. Still able to read pretty well on my iPhone 6s. Looking for new iPad now since my iPad air 2 bit the bullet about a week ago. I took out my Asus 15.5 inch 2-1 this morning and flipped it into the tablet position. Trying to ignore the weight difference, it just seems way too big to me. I'm thinking the 11 inch IPP or the IPA would be the right size for me. I'm waiting to see if they update the IPA this year before deciding on which to get. Unless, waiting gets the better of me. Then, I'd probably order an 11 inch IPP. I would love to be able to get into an Apple store to feel the difference.
But then you're faced with other issues such as arthritis or RSI. The lighter the better, please. Granted, this one's more of an issue with reading rather than watching. 😅
