The hurt in this thread, wow. Some people really can't take anything negative being said about their precious Apple. Linus had some very good points if you actually took off the Apple coloured Glasses. Same thing when Unbox therapy pointed out the issues with the Wifi and LTE signal, all of a sudden that youtuber is an idiot ect ect. Grow up!!!

Any "points" he may have made, are basically recycled from other reviews...nothing ground breaking.
Members here can have a mature interaction while disagreeing with his review... it's all still subjective.
Youtube reviews are just entertainment. Good or bad. You can't take any of them seriously if they start recommending anything. It's all a show.
That's because Apple's products are gimped, disposable and overpriced. If they weren't such, they'd get a better review. Apple's robbing consumers blind and yet Samsung, for less money, puts out a WAY better phone without compromises (and includes a headphone jack). Apple gets exposed for this and you guys cry about it... why? Nothing he said was false.

So here's the thing, Linus is a good reviewer for Window's tech stuff, since it's what he loves. He is clearly biased against Mac stuff, and I've heard him misquote specs on the regular when covering it on the Wan Show (his weekly tech show with Luke).

Yeah, not true. He doesn't credit iMessage really, which is a huge bonus, both on a social, a security and a practicality level. Also, Samsung has a worst life expectancy. It doesn't matter if it's a $100 dollars cheaper if it runs like garbage after a year and a half. My iPhone 6S+ runs better than today than it did when I bought it. It just needs a new battery, for $29 bucks. I'd love to see how people who bought the galaxy 6 are doing with their phones (Spoiler alert, they've upgraded to a One Plus or a new Samsung.)

I used to use Android btw, and find ZERO personal appeal for it. I don't run Apple or make these devices, nothing you say offends me at all.

Both are failures. At least Sony phones used the foreheads and chins to put in 2 front firing stereo speakers. Apple, with it's long history of boneheaded moves, prefers to keep things slim for the sake of saying "Look! 0.2mm thinner!" instead of making things practical. Kind of like that dumb mouse that you have to flip over to charge and thus render it unusable until it's charged.

That’s not really the issue. Most who already pre-ordered/Purchased their iPhones long before these reviews are even completely available once the embargo is lifted. It doesn’t necessarily mean the user will return their iPhone, it just creates negativity for those who start searching for things wrong with their iPhone that these ‘YouTubers’ will portray what they don’t like about the XS, Which then creates negativity or creates unnecessry attention for the sake of gaining clicks.

Rene Ritchie did a good job refuting Linus’s points that were otherwise false and misinformed. Also Linus is pretty petty about autocorrect, when it’s his ignorance that’s partly to blame, iPhone XS is stylized with small caps for the ‘S’ like XS or XR, it’s not a lowercase letter, or else you sound like you’re saying more than one iPhone X, and autocorrect thought he was trying to plural the X.
I think he’s acting so negative because he’s still sore from Apple’s atrocious iMac Pro repair problem. It shouldn’t be hindering his iPhone XS review. Also this video shows how biased he is.
