I love that people can't accept change. I'm already use to iOS 7.
iOS 6 felt like it was 6 years old.

What a tool post.

Seems like a disaster to me.
1) Way too many Apple apps are broken in that you cannot select the top row of the scrollbar: this makes it impossible to select the most recent caller who left a voice mail, you can't ADD a stock to the stock tracker app,
2) The calendar fonts are such that you simply cannot tell the difference between days with calendar items and those without.
3) Scrolling of email is jerky, and delayed at random intervals, so the action is not smooth at all. Horrible.
4) The photo/video control buttons are impossible to decipher. You can't tell when video is on or off. They abandoned the usual VCR controls and now you can't tell whats going on. They injected some crazy animation that leaves pictures out of focus most of the time.
5) They broke quite a few other apps that rely on search or other controls on the top row of a list. You simply cannot get to the top row, especially if teathering is activated.
The question I have is, does Jony Ive and his team believe their design prinicple's are more important than customer satisfaction? I don't think apple had many issues with iOS and customer satisfaction.
Anyway I blame Tim cook for not doing his job and keeping core talent in the company.
But my main focus right now is making sure that iOS7 does not come to the iPhone.
OMG... I just read this... somebody shoot me please!!!
And me!!
It's a beta (only the second one) there are going to be issues with it. I have no doubt the calendar will be sorted by the time we reach GM, plus all the other issues.
Some people need to calm down!
People should give Android a chance. They just don't know how better it is, and how much better it will get.
Plus you have much better hardware also.
The Finder, and traditional hierarchical file systems, are relics from the PC era. These things are not needed on modern, cloud-aware mobile devices.
That isn't to say iOS couldn't use better document management capabilities, which works across apps, in the future. But it shouldn't be anything like the Finder.
That's the most idiotic thing I've heard all year. Good luck with that. Cheers.
Buy new glasses please.
um...if i were you i wouldn't hold my breath waiting for op to respond to your question.
Op has left the building...permanently!

7 is the reason I will be staying with 6 unless I am forced to upgrade for security and performance related reasons. The design is just horrible.
Anyways I don't see any drastic changes in UI. The fundamentals are still the same and so it feels like a cheaply themed android phone to me. I will continue to enhance 6 with jailbreak hacks as long as possible. In fact I already have most of the features of 7 and more through jailbreak hacks.
You'd think they would fundamentally change Siri, but she still behaves as if she's in beta.
I wanted her simply to find my sister on Facebook.
It couldn't do it.
Because my sister shares my last name, all Siri could say was: "I don't see that name in your contacts."
No matter what I said differently, same response.
Then I said Search. What does Siri do?
She searches for the word search.
Embarrassing.
