Exactly why people should be buying the 8/8+ so Apple can move forward with that design. The X series is plagued in so many ways.

Sarcasm doesn't help either, yet here we go:
Pointing out that what we are seeing is not new, and the video is making a lot more out of a software bug than need be, is productive.

You make a habit of bashing Apple’s shortcomings with others. The OP does the same time and time again.

All phones have had problems. Again, nothing new. Saying people should move to last year’s phone because of some problems, is showing bias and forgetfulness on your part.

Its the better phone. The design alone. Oh let's not forget the iPhone 8 never had issues at launch. Doesn't have signal or wifi issues, or wait... charging issues. Yeah I think its a no brainer.

I feel objecting that the phone has fundamental issues with charging and reception is hardly bashing. It's just poor QC on part of Apple.

If the issue was so minor, it would have been fixed already.

Everyone knows what we are seeing is not new, but they are having an issue regardless, hence they voice them on a forum, which I assume this is one?

Sarcasm doesn't help the problem though, so you being sarcastic is just as bad as me being humorous about it. ;)

what this is, is another WIN for the iPhone X owners who didn't trade their device in or sell it all in order to have the newest iPhone.

A solid Testament to how great the iPhone X really was/is.

iOS 12 on a greatly Maintained iPhone X is the perfect Combo.

My X is faster than it was before except it has none of the issues that this years iPhone's are showcasing.

hopefully this gets resolved !

I haven't noticed any of these issues on my Xs thus far. I really think people go out of their way to find issues to complain about.

Edit: Im sure this will get me labeled as a fanboy/Apple-apologist, oh well.

Not at all, it's obvious that not all units suffer from this, as well as that some people are less likely to notice issues like these.

However, ignorance doesn't exempt Apple from properly QCing products before going to market, especially given the premium pricing. I don't think the scrutiny would be as intense if taking about $400 Korean/Chinese smartphones.

Not every unit is affected, so you will find some who have perfectly working devices.

Unbox Therapy did a video about the charging and wake issues, where some X S and X S Max units worked just fine while others replicated the issues.

See here:

Your known anti Apple agenda doesn’t really convey as humorous though and recycling somebody else’s jokes on here repeatedly to mock Apple distances you from genuine iPhone owners who have legitimate complaints.

Yeah! Like, who needs signal or to charge up a Mobile phone anyway!?

Ignore the haters Nivz! This is what we pay $1000 for.

More like any new release could be susceptible to issues. The Xbox 360 had red ring issues. Pixel 2 XL screen issues. iPhone X cold temperatures freezing screens and green lines on screens. Just wait for iOS 12.0.1 or 12.1 to come out before overreacting. If the issue is really bad, then replace it at the Apple Store. Lemons happen.

Easy to see! Is this X to XS?

XS on the left, X on the right. Also the black levels are off when brightness is set to low.

Sadly, the Geniuses are stating they see no differences and aren’t budging to give me an exchange.

Well, no one is sure if the reception and WiFi issues are a bug or a hardware issue. Won't be the first time..........

There is an article that tested the antenna gain and it showed that it was very low. Lower than most. Only a couple bands tested good. So something to do with the antenna gain.

More overblown nonsense that people will use to justify their non buying decisions in their mind. Over and over in these forums. They get off on it, it’s very strange.

More condescending denialism that people will use to justify thier buying decisions in their mind.

Or perhaps people are just pointing out QC issues that should never happen especially on an S update and a phone that costs over 1000 dollars.

Did they take into room? The main floor is very bright. Wonder if Apple backed off on tolerances. They had poor yields with X launch and couldn’t afford to have bad displays with new design.
Really doesn’t matter with budging. In 14 day window. Just return and repurchase if need too or even want to right now.

There will always be issues when manufacturing millions of devices, regardless of cost. Starting another thread to talk about it won’t change that. If you have a problem, bring it to Apple. Simple. Have you done that?
