has it even been shown by anyone here that LG panels exist or don't have the yellow tint issue? No chance that both LG and Samsung have the same display problems.
Glad i got a 12 after reading that. With anandtech confirming that we are not crazy today, I think it’s safe to say this is what most iPhones look like this year, and the “nice” screens out there are the true outliers, not our yellow ones.
I entered my SN and registered but it is not displaying any information?Help yourself : http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html/
From your phone - Settings - General - About .. tap and hold on the serial number to copy. Paste it on that site.
you’ll need the full serial number. Been using this site for years and never had an issue!
try refreshing the screen and doing it again.. Usually it's pretty quick.I entered my SN and registered but it is not displaying any information?
It says "please be patient, we are looking up the data." For the last 10 minutes?
OK .. but it would be enough if they added the white tone adjustment ... not that of the color filter .... do you think it's possible?
If it's indeed a SW issue, it could potentially affect any display regardless of manufacturer. No chance that both LG and Samsung have the same display problems.

If it’s only the samsung panels there’s hope for a sw fix, since i’m pretty sure iOS should be able detect the panel manufacturer and calibrate accordingly
there in lies the problem
pretty sure there’s bad lg and samsung
Like good lg and Samsung
Those articles refer to other display issues other then the reported yellow tint.Google: ‘ iPhone 12 pro Max display issue ‘
I just took for granted the temperature differences given with the lower number being that yellow tint result. Good call. Those articles refer to other display issues other then the reported yellow tint.

Has anyone updated to 14.3 beta?
I saw a post that said that might solve the problem.
It won't be. I'll give 11:1 odds on anyone willing to bet. 11 because thats the number of years iPhone 3GS owners have been waiting for this software fix for the same yellow tint for that gen. There have been posts about how every single upcoming update "might solve the problem". So far, no, it hasn't. There could be another beta tomorrow and that could address it, but there's zero indication of if/when it will be addressed through software.

Math 101. Because <1% panels are good this year.Where are those good LG / Samsung panels that are cooler and don't have yellow tint? How is that people have exchanged so many phones and they are all yellow?
Ah yes. The data you provided clearly states that.Math 101. Because <1% panels are good this year.
