Show them this picture. This should be 100% black (LEDs fully off) and not this green glow.
This happens on all 12 models ...

You have green tint?
How to test: Dark mode on, 0% brightness go into settings and you can see this:
With 25% brightness you can see grey and not green tint. Is this right?

It’s supposed to look grey.. or at least on lcd panels.
Can you go at this link save the image on your phone and then view this in a dark room with brightness all the way down?
Does it look grey or does it have a hint of green? Try and move to another picture and go back to that picture a few times, Does your screen started to Flicker at all

The most important part is that you have to let your eyes adjust to total darkness for a minute or two, or else you might think (as I did at first) that you are looking at a 100% black screen, whereas it really is not.

I just received one of my iPhone 12 Pro Max phones. No yellow tinting with True Tone turned off. The screen has a blue cast off axis. Observed no raised black levels either. This phone is perfect in all aspects, no observed physical defects on the back glass and no physical defects on the stainless steel frame.

I honestly don’t have any faith in Apple support to escalate this anywhere close to the appropriate engineers. For those who do, please feel free to make use of my posting.
Looks like the same like all in this forum. Nice warm white and not the blue white like LCD.
Can you test Dark Mode with 0% brightness in settings in a dark room?
No raised blacks on my iPhone 12 with this video or any other black image full screen.
I also tried to wait a while for my eyes to adjust. Screen was as dark as a screen turned off can be.
No flickering either.
It appears that the phone does have raised black levels? Regardless, I am happy with the phone and it is a keeper.
Can some of you test this?

Second and most interesting thing to notice, is whether after observing the photo in the dark for a while, moving back and forth from that grey pic to another pic on the phone, back and forth, then staying on the dark one etc.. if at the end you screen starts slightly flickering... this is the only situation which led my phone to flicker. This is very very strange.

Yes this flickering seems to be the HDR option in settings/photos Full-HDR.
Is flickering gone if you disable this?
On my 12 mini it is only very slightly greenish, same greenish tint as the display generally has in grays. I wasn’t able to reproduce the flicker (View Full HDR is on). As noted in my post I linked above, I was only once able to produce a flicker with a black video. My gut feeling is that the proneness to flicker may be subject to production variances.
