Im just about to return my 2nd 12 pro, compared to my partners XS both 12’s looked dull and yellow, even my 7 has a nicer crisp white tone to it. Not impressed.
Maybe, but mostly because I can't read Chinese. I ran it in Bootcamp on my older Mac that I don't use much just to be safe. This app seems real sketch.
Yeah the installation on Mac is what scares me, since it asks you to install via terminal and force a developer certification with it.Maybe, but mostly because I can't read Chinese. I ran it in Bootcamp on my older Mac that I don't use much just to be safe.
if you google the website i4.cn you'll find some reports about malware distribution in apps/software from this chinese website.Yeah the installation on Mac is what scares me, since it asks you to install via terminal and force a developer certification with it.
Yikes. Probably wouldn't have installed it had I known that. It installs an app on your phone when you connect it by the way.if you google the website i4.cn you'll find some reports about malware distribution in apps/software from this chinese website.

You should remove this as this app installs spyware on your computer/phoneJust watched interesting video regarding green tint issue. Seems like there are issues with pannels not software:
I wouldn’t get my hopes up. On mine they just told me to reset to factory, and if that didn’t work they’d pass me onto aftersales lolI have my callback this evening so I’ll be very curious to see what they say.
highn0r,I really doubt that they will be able to fix it. Since there are obviously different panels build in.
Tim Apple knows....and still no one knows
Please keep us posted!I have my callback this evening so I’ll be very curious to see what they say.
I've had few callbacks and they went over all the full reset, blank setup, TT off, night shift, etc etcI have my callback this evening so I’ll be very curious to see what they say.
First time I called about my launch day phone, they had me do a reset, TT off, etch... At the end they told me to go the the store and get it exchanged. Exchanged unit had the same issue, thought I would give it a week and see if I got used to it.I've had few callbacks and they went over all the full reset, blank setup, TT off, night shift, etc etc
Then put me on hold because "they have to talk with senior advisor"
Comes back and tell me engineer team is looking into it
time spent: ~1 hour and was supposed to call me back on Tuesday but haven't heard back from them
and all I wanted was express replacement...
Yeah, definitely not holding my breath. Let’s hope they do the right thing.I wouldn't hold my breath for anything until after the return period... the last thing Apple wants is a flood of exchanges.... IF they do anything it would probably be some screen exchange program... and thats a big IF
Nor will any subsequent software update.... Our best shot is if Apple acknowledges this as a hardware issue and does a screen replacement program. I wouldn't hold my breath on that either though.Just FYI 14.2.1 did not fix anything for me.
