This is so true!

... when you still have a slight hope that Jobs will come out with a Powerbook G5, if only for memorabilia

A slight hope? I looked at this comment and found myself laughing (and agreeing!!) A Powerbook G5 in 12-inch case would be perfect!

-when you have an Apple sticker on your Ti-84 calculator (and NO other stickers)
-when you know how to do more with your ipod than anyone else in the school
-when you desperately try to stream the keynote, even though the video stutters every 3 secs, you still watch it all:)
-when you convinced your parents from being a single PC household to a single MAC household
-when your friends come over, they just look at your make with awe and refer to it as the 'computer that can do anything" or alternatively "the computer that can take over the world'
-when you are the only person in your school to follow macrumor sites
-when you snicker when your friends nice, brand-new, high powered Dell, crashes and gets wiped within ~3 mos. of purchase
-when you know how to and have booted you ipod into diagnostic mode (sometimes just to play around, really spooks friends:) )
-you actually get the New Powerbook G5's next tuesday joke
-when you have more white cables than black coming out of your computer
-when owning a Mac Pro w. dual 30'' inch monitors is one of your life's goals

You keep every box, manual, twist-tie, plastic bag, and plastic cover, that your new Apple product came in.

You look for vintage Apple items on eBay as "complete in box" as possible.

You collect as much Apple catalog and marketing materials as possible.

So true!! I've got stacks of the stuff.
Does having five Macs in a household of two count? (iMac G4, ibook G3, Black MacBook, MacMini, TAM)... or a web site of some of your stuff... or a study groaning under so many items!

123 posts and I'm unsure if this has been posted yet:

When you SAVE every Apple product box and BURN every Dell box.

When in the months before getting your MacBook, there was almost a whole week you couldn't stop dreaming about one, and had scattered dreams about walking outside and getting yours from the UPS/FedEx guy.

Actually I was outside sitting on the porch and when the FedEx guy pulled in with my Macbook. As soon as he stepped out, I ran up and grabbed the box that contained the oh so sexy blackmac :p

you buy an iPod, even though you don't listen to music.

you point out any Apple computers on TV, even when you parents and siblings get mad at you when you do.

a windows user comes and tries to prove it's better when a new program comes out and you show them a program that does that much and more that you've been using for longer.

you post in this topic.

your offered a brand new PC for free and turn it down.
