When you find yourself in an Apple store, using a Mac, to check out MacRumors, to make sure there is no new rumor making your Mac purchase unwise.

You have every mac or apple computer sticker that came with every mac purchase you ever made ever since the mac classic II, yet you haven't used any because you can't find anything worthy enough to stick them to.

(It's true- and I spend way too much time thinking about this)

You think of that time you owned a windoze machine as "The Dark Ages" and shiver a little bit.

You sometimes join windows forums just to troll and tell everyone how good your OS is, and how bad theirs is. You laugh at the silly problems windows users seem to have.

You know what "Linux" is but you don't care.

You consult the iChing for help regarding your next iMac purchase.

You go window shopping for furniture and you can't think about what to buy without wondering how your mac will look on it.

You haven't used 5% of the OS's capabilities yet you are very happy with how useful and functional your computer is.

You spend way too much time in this site waiting for the scoop on hardware and OS upgrades. Wayyyyy too much time. You are nervous and fidgety because you really want to buy something new, NOW!

....when you see the latest apple commercial, and before it's finished its second playthrough you've already purchased the song in it from iTunes.

-when you know how to do more with your ipod than anyone else in the school

I had my iPod out in English last year. The teacher wanted to confiscate it, but i said i needed it for school work; i had left my Shakespeare book at home, but luckily, I had put it on my iPod as notes :D
-when you desperately try to stream the keynote, even though the video stutters every 3 secs, you still watch it all:)
or when you sit down with your family to watch Jobs unveil products you will probably never own ie XServes:rolleyes:

You know you're a Mac geek when . . . .

When in the months before getting your MacBook, there was almost a whole week you couldn't stop dreaming about one, and had scattered dreams about walking outside and getting yours from the UPS/FedEx guy.

- you keep hitting the refresh button on the UPS [insert carrier of your choice] delivery status page of your recently ordered MBP [insert machine of your choice here]

- you sit outside your house front door waiting for the UPS (insert carrier of your choice] delivery truck to turn up with your recently ordered MBP [insert machine of your choice here]

Before that, when my G4 came I bought party hats and made a giant welcome card hand painted with acrylics!

When you were the first in the school to know about the 5G iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Nano 2G, 5.5G iPod, 2G iPod Shuffle, Mac Pro, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Apple TV, and iPhone.

When you know that Apple made the first affordable computer with a GUI, one of the first digital cameras, and the first PDA.

When you know what a GUI is.

When you watch MacRumors Live during lunch hour during special events.

When you've done all the above before your 14th birthday. :p
Yes yes yes yes and yes!
....when you see the latest apple commercial, and before it's finished its second playthrough you've already purchased the song in it from iTunes.

When you have Apple stickers not only on your car but your snowboards.

And, um, when your 2nd computer was an Apple IIe
and every computer since then has been an Apple too.

When you have 2 of your 3 Apple laptops on your coffee table so you can use one while the other is working on something else. (ie. DVD burning)

You look forward to intensive work related classroom training because you're learning so much about using Keynote as a study aid.

You can't wait until the next version of Keynote.
