love those stickers!

Errr .... when you stick those cool white Apple self adhesive logo's on everything from your printer to the drawers in the filing cabinet. :apple:

FJ

I put a white one on the little window in the rear passenger side of my car. It helps me find it better in the parking lot! (so many other silver cars in AZ!!) I also get excited when I see other cars with Apple stickers on their windows. Makes me want to be kind to them and not cut them off on the road...he he he. JK

On my last car, I had a rainbow one. This was a few years ago and I was driving with my Dad in this car. Don't remember how it came up, but he never knew that the rainbow is a symbol for gay pride. (mind you, my Dad isn't a homophobe, but innocently, he says to me - in reference of my rainbow Apple sticker on my window, "Great! Now everyone driving past us thinks we're gay! How can the rainbow be a symbol for gay pride? We used the rainbow on everything in the 60s, man! HOW CAN THEY HAVE EVERY COLOR IN THE RAINBOW?!!!!"

So, now my Dad is famous for that quote and my friends and family always tease him about it. I send him rainbow things every chance I get! I even convinced him to buy a mini.

Macs make it happen!

when you cry about reading a story about how a guy uses his mac to propose to a girl

This is going to sound really mooshy and cheesy, but I actually met my husband online using my Mac. (an 800MHz Quicksilver G4) One of the things that made it enticing to chat with him originally was the fact that he was also on a Mac (a blueberry iMac that has the shell duct-taped on to keep it together.) (<--I think it's an endearing quality about his personality) It was just one other thing among so many that we had in common. We've been very happily married now for over 2 years and have a beautiful baby boy together.

A couple of months ago, my hard drive died. Luckily, a friend was able to replace it with a slightly smaller one we had available from another machine. I knew it was getting old and I had been archiving the data from it for safe keeping. Here's the geeky part: I don't want to throw away this dead HD because I want to keep it for sentimental value. It's thee hard drive I was using when I met and fell in love with my husband and it still has a log of our chat sessions from when we were "dating." I just think it might be cute to hang onto it and who knows, sometime 30 years from now, maybe our children will consider it to be some type of technology momento. I've even thought about putting it into some type of shadow box in a scrap book.

OK, I'm strange. I just thought this was the appropriate outlet for admitting this.

you know your an apple geek when you are the only one with full length movies on yur ipod and people at school ask you howd you do that and then you say handbrake and they dont know what that is.

also when you are always pointing out apple things on tv or w/e in an effort to try and convince the rest of your family to convert to mac, because apple is the best :D :apple:

I'm like that!? No one at school is able to rip groggy AVI files but me, sadly though my old 30Gb cant handle much in terms of battery life.

You know u're an apple geek when you know that apple once made a digital camera, printer and a console/mac!

When you get hyped over the release of a product you have no intention of buying.

When your favourite t-shirts are the apple ones.

When your friends fight over who was the first one to find out the latest rumor.

When you're teacher (whose class they just installed an iMac in) ask's you to come up front and show her the basics of how it works, just becuase you sit on your PB and play during her class.

- you greet your flatmate, who you've also converted from a Mac-hater into a Mac devotee, with a "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG" instead of saying hello, or good morning.

- your close relatives have a fear of mentioning that they've bought any hardware that doesn't run Mac OS.

- if you ever had a tattoo, it'd be an apple one (as someone said above).

When you were the first in the school to know about the 5G iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Nano 2G, 5.5G iPod, 2G iPod Shuffle, Mac Pro, Macbook, Macbook Pro, Apple TV, and iPhone.

When your best shirt is a "I visited the mothership" t-shirt from 1 Infinite Loop.

When you know that Apple made the first affordable computer with a GUI, one of the first digital cameras, and the first PDA.

When you know what a GUI is.

When you watch MacRumors Live during lunch hour during special events.

When you've done all the above before your 14th birthday. :p
