I had to use very long cables to put the new MacPro on the cabinet behind me. Aditional SSD and HDs are inside. No problems so far and absolutely quiet solution.

That is very nice. Almost perfect. Seriously very nice.

1 critique I have is the monitor stands are a bit obtrusive. They seem to draw the eye away a lot from the very pleasing room. Granted I don't have a suggestion on how to better do it. Overall an incredible office!

Can't resist. So it's an old Macpro. But look MA! No cable mess! The Apple display is mounted on the wall. I can push it back and push the keyboard aside and I have my full desk to work on my real hobby. That is model trains. :)

If I had a nMP I would:

#1 - have to place it on my desk somewhere or on the shelf above.
#2 - have a cable mess to my hard drives that are currently internal

Granted I love the looks of the nMP I personally feel Apple failed with the lack of internal storage options.

Also a photo of the MacPro that controls the trains and a few shots of the trains :)

Thank you! I agree that the Ergotron dual monitor stands could be a lot less obtrusive (it looks even worse because of the short focal length). Maybe I will go for the new LG 34um95 ultra wide monitor as a replacement for my two Eizos if the quality is comparable. Then I´ll need a single monitor stand anyway.

Sadly it's hidden behind the left monitor but I finally got my NMP.

Wow... all those neat looking desks.

It's not exactly messy, but still has the oMP running while I make sure the transition/files/apps are still in tact.

Circular sit-stand desk, three of them, here's the nMP and the reason I go Mac which is I can run Linux and Windows under the same hood. Three Cinema displays (LG Ultrawide for the center on order), and in a cabinet to the right (MP photo) is the Pegasus2.

This is what happens when you try to go anti-apple:

rMBP (2013), iPad mini retina, iPhone 5s, and a 6c/16GB/1TBSSD/D700 with a TBD.

location setup

Studio setup - I am 6'6 and regular chairs kill me. This is a stand / sit setup i use with a tall drafting chair. It's an old tv stand i did a mod on. On wheels and swings out for rear access, nMP is behind the monitors

Beautiful setup! What model amp and speakers are those?

I've been contemplating replacing my speakers for sometime now. Every time I give it some serious thought I'm convinced a good pre amp and / or DAC should be part of the equation.

The amp is a NuForce DDA100 ... essentially has a built in DAC and gets great reviews from the hifi press. Speakers are Harbeth P3ESR ... fantastic sound, but not cheap.
