I love the look of it. 4.8" screen, and its very thin. Way to go, Samsung. I'm going to be ppppp if Apple comes out with another 3.5" phone. Get with the times. 4" or higher, please

the guy who showed the s3 tried to copy Steve Jobs by taking the S3 out of his pocket and he was EXPRESSION LESS lol

Meh. Nothing much IMO. Especially for something that was getting so much hype; totally underwhelming.

Agreed. I do like some of the new features though. It calling the contact you were texting when you hold the phone to your ear and when it knows you're looking at it namely.

The HTC One X blows the Galaxy S3 out of the water. I was debating b/w which of these two devices to use when I pre-ordered the One X and I believe I clearly made the right decision.

Absolutely. This could very well have been called the Galaxy SII 1/2. Samsung really should just be done with it and go ahead and make this thing 5+". Every year this phone gets bigger and bigger.

At the end of the day this thing is still going to be relying on Samsung and the carriers for updates after Google pushes them out. The Note, which came out in February on AT&T, is still waiting on ICS. If I were to ever go Android it would have to be for a Nexus device. Call it spoiled or whatever, but I have come to enjoy getting timely updates for iOS and that is not something I ever want to give up and go back to being forced to rely on a carrier to patch software.

Zero lag on the camera, >1sec startup for the camera and 50gb free DropBox storage.
Wireless charging too!

What sucks is no US version until summer.

Eh, I like some of the features of it. Quad Core - First Quad-Core processor phone?

Don't like that they reduced the mp of the FFC, even though I'm sure it's a better quality lens.

I like the S talk or whatever it is. And the put-to-ear to call features. The gestures on the phone seem to work really well, and well, I'm looking forward to it. Next phone - either this or the next iPhone.

For the disappointed: what more did you want out of interest?

First and foremost, not a high gloss plastic shell for the back of the device...absolutely awful design choice.

Second, how about an RGB display instead of another Pentile version like the Galaxy Nexus (which was nowhere CLOSE to as nice as the iPhone 4S or HTC One X displays).

I live a few minutes away from Earls Court, might get my ass down there and try to steal one, I want one so badly!

Birthday is at the end of this month so might ask for one though, looks incredible. I'm seriously bored with my 4S.

The One X suddenly looks a lot more appetizing. However, I think I'll stick to my Galaxy Nexus. TouchWiz... is hideous. Apple and HTC are probably both breathing a small sigh of relief.

I think 2012 is now Apple's show to steal.

The glossy plastic shell is probably my biggest design gripe. The rest is software (TouchWiz notably), so I really wasn't expecting much on that end.

I'm curious if you said the same thing about the 4s?

Yup, I did. That's why I still have the iPhone 4. Other than Siri, better camera, and processor I didn't see the need. However, if I had the 3GS, then I would have upgraded in a heartbeat.

Not bad. 4.8 inch screen, eye tracking tech, nfc, 50gb of cloud storage, 16-32-64gb memory, plus another 32gb for a mini sd card. Biggest feature - wireless charging and car dock. Available May 29th in Europe. Summer for US. :-(

I will def be getting one.

I also like the fact that if you are watching a video and a text comes in, you can keep the video up on screenin a small window while you text. Then tap the video togo back to full screen. S-Beam is like Bump for sharing files.

Speed on it is friggin fast too, at least in the demo. Having a phone number displayed in a text or email and then just putting it to your ear to dial it automatically... Sweet.

The One X has solid LTE battery life, a non-pentile display, and a much nicer polycarbonate casing. Plus it's available this Sunday in the States versus a vague summer release. The only thing I like about the SIII is the 64 GB model and home button.

I think the One X will be a big hit now that I've seen this.

Aside from additional memory, I honestly don't see a single reason why anyone would get this device over the HTC One X.
