A two finger swipe across the title bar of any app throws the app to the next/previous space. It puts the window in the same place on the screen as it was on the previous space, even over windows that are already occupying the space.

No, not at all.

No, not at all.

Really? For me, it does nothing except for on the app store, where the screen flashes that background texture of the app store..

Oops you both are right, I'm wrong. It's a new setting in a just updated nightly version of Hyperdock. I'm sorry. It's a great feature tho. It must be blocking the screen flashing of the app store background for me.

I'm not an idiot. I know the basic methods of switching tabs. I'm talking about to activate tab expose. I don't think they thought this all the way through.

But it's not like I use the zoom function often so it won't make a difference to me.

There's a button for that (beside the new tab button)

Running the 10.8 GM over here on my MacBook Air. Am I the only one missing Power Nap, or is this something that Apple's going to wait to put in until the official release?

I'm assuming we'll see a firmware update of some type on the release day that will allow for Power Nap.

Only the new 2012 Macbook Airs and the Retina Macbook Pro will support Power Nap, just by the way.

Because even though they had time to remake the Automater and Trash icons from scratch, they apparently didn't have time to provide a minor update to any of the desktop icons.

They actually used the Leopard desktop picture for the desktop icon, whereas the Snow Leopard desktop picture was used in Lion. I literally screamed WHAT? when I saw it. I really think they should just use the ML wallpaper for 1) consistency's sake and 2) prevent confusing the users that the desktop pictures actually exist.

It is not a third party app it is a systems preference that, as far as I can remember, has been present in Snow Leopard and definitely in Lion (and I think earlier as well). It only shows up when you connect a graphics tablet.

Ink has been part of OSX for a long time now, and can be activated by visiting this folder on your startup disk:

/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras

I know that AirPlay Mirroring will only work on 2nd gen MBA and the RMBP, and that's because they use Flash storage instead of a HDD. Is this the only reason, though? I'm replacing my MBP 2010's HDD with a SSD, so will AirPlay Mirroring work with my MBP when I get ML?

According to Apple's website, all 2011 models and newer get it. Doesn't say anything about requiring a SSD.

Having an SSD has nothing to do with Airplay Mirroring. A CPU with QuickSync is required, which means Core i-series CPUs only.

I think you mean power nap.

Hi Folks! Is anyone experiencing issues with iMessage and FaceTime in 10.8 GM? For some unknown reason I am unable to log on with my AppleID. Checked AppleID, no issues, works fine with my iPad 2. iCloud works fine as well.

Wrong thread.

"So talk about small details, little things that don't really get mentioned anywhere. Even the slightest change from Lion deserves to be noticed!"

You can fullscreen an app on either display but it will make only that single display usable.

Sigh, well, at least it's a step in the right direction.

[*]The return of the side bar in Calendars (showing calendar list and small month views). The faux leather has also been greatly toned down.

So glad to hear that. The "leather" is terrible.

Spanish dictionary

Could someone tell me the source for the Spanish dictionary in the dictionary app? For example, it's The New Oxford Dictionary for English.
