Just installed on my 2008 iMac without a hitch. Safari 6 is alot better then 5, i may switch over from Firefox. I am about to install on my 2011 MBA aswell.
Reconfiguring everything takes around 20 minutes. It's not such a big deal. Just do the system preferences one more time and customise your finder and that's it. The 3rd party app preferences you can just copy paste.
Dunno what it is. Start up time is very long. Even after a fresh install it still takes two minutes or so from Boot to Desktop.
Maybe I should replace my HD with an SSD?
I really dunno.
A few things have changed since 1985. For instance, RAM isn't "precious" anymore. 16GB is under $100...how much RAM could reminders take up? Under 100 MB maybe? Come on...

How many people on here that have installed 10.8 GM are actual developers and how many aren't.
Just want a quick overview.
Thanks

If I wanted an iPad I would have gotten one. Mtn Lion moves the Mac even more into the iPad zone. Not interested. I will not be "upgrading" to an OS that is made to turn my laptop into a glorified iPad.
Apple is heading in the wrong direction in a number of ways...I have to wonder if these bad moves would be happening if Steve Jobs were still at the helm. Oh well.

Not going to work as there are no mailmen in the bush
So how do you propose they get the OS they so badly need while on assignment in the bush?
Anyone try Diablo 3 in ML yet?
