Well isn't this bloody great?! Ordered my iMac for 3rd June delivery and spoke to an agent today to try and add the Numeric keyboard. Was assured that my delivery slot wouldn't change and I triple checked with her. Go onto the website to see my order has been cancelled and a new delivery date of 15th-22nd June is now popping up. What the hell has she done???? Need to contact Apple tomorrow to try and fix this situation but this is just stupid. And to make matters worse, she hasn't even applied the Numeric keypad!
Does anybody else’s order not show up in their Apple store account under Orders? I got a confirmation email, but it doesn’t show up in my orders. When I try searching the order number & my Apple ID nothing shows up either. When I click on the link from the email it says “Your Apple ID doesn’t match this order.” I called the automated service to check the status of the order and gave the order number and it did say the order exists.
I believe this means you made the order without being signed in to your Apple ID.
I did the same and then I looked up the order on Safari and it asked if I wanted to sign in and then asked if I wanted to add the order to my Apple ID. I did that and then it started showing up in my Apple Store app etc.

I did that & it works now! Strange, I always have it automatically signed in so I don’t know why it did that! Has never happened before

happened to me to and i swore i was signed in. u can look it up as a guest order tho mine shows up like that
this happened to me and I just went to the order status page, put in the order number and had an option to add it to an Apple ID and got it to show up under my actual apple account.
Mine did that. My 2 other orders (iPad Pro and Apple TV) showed up, iMac didn’t. When I clicked the link in the email I was able to add it. Now it shows up. Never had that happen before.
oh i just did this and it worked! funny the last time i did a manual look up that option wasnt there..mustve been a known glitch on their end
Lucky. My blue 16gb got cancelled due to the idiots at apple customer service. Cancelled without even telling me despite them saying my delivery dates won’t slide and now it’s been pushed back to the 15-22nd June
Damn that’s annoying, sorry that happened. Was it live chat? Keep us updated on what happened. I was wanting to do the same to get the keyboard with the numeric keypad too but maybe I’ll hold off. Hopefully they’re able to at least give you back your original delivery date if they can’t change it to one with a keypad
I’m going from a 27 inch iMac to the 24 inch. I bought a 32 inch monitor off Amazon and returned it after a week since it was too big. Most of what I currently do on my 27 inch doesn’t take advantage of the big screen (other than writing papers with 3 way screen split) so for me 24 inch seems to be the sweet spot
Would you say 27 inch is the ideal size if cost weren't an issue? What made the 32 inch too big? Sitting at desk and looking at 32 inch screen the outer parts of the screen were more at your peripheral vision and it didn't get enough of your attention? I've used a 27 inch for a few minutes in an Apple Store and it did feel I was almost surrounded by the screen. It's was nice, but never used anything larger than 27, and now wonder if anything bigger would be overwhelming sort like an IMAX theatre where the screen is so so big you can't see everything at the same time. I didn't want to wait for when the bigger iMac will come out, so I ordered the new 24 iMac. I have the 24 Cinema Display now.
Yup via apples iMessage function. They have the audacity to say it’s not their fault as they only put in the request and they couldn’t predict that the delivery times have slipped. So now I have a cancelled order and a new one that’s coming late June.

But they did predict it when they told you the delivery time wouldn’t change! I’d be fuming! ?
