Partially dressed women promoting Energy Drinks, and cars going in circles. The God Like event in their “Next Gen Car” for 2022 was incorporating a Multilink Rear Suspension. They just haven’t figured out how to set the camber correctly yet after 3 races from what I understand. Blowouts constantly from overloading the sidewalls.
wow. Interesting. I make a habit to catch the Daytona 500 and I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the cars that actually led and was sorta of dominant win for once. Lately it has been some midfield/backmarker who simply avoided the big wrecks that has won.

MotoGP is fun , but nothing like the F1 engineering battle , although in years where I was invested in the sport (when Rossi was there) it was crazy fun to watch , but like in any sport , once you stop being invested in the misc of the sport , it becomes unwatchable aside from some specific events.

Great race on Sunday , cant wait for Friday's practice to see new parts coming !!! going to be a great season I feel.

You forgot beer beer and more beer and writing a word across several mens big bellies ?.
Still the crashes are pretty epic, and dangerous.

Max looked super strong in P1 at Jeddah, faster on Hards than the rest of the field on Softs until the last moments when LeClerc just pipped him (while still on on Softs).

Hamilton the best Mercedes at 9th.

LeClerc again on top in P2 with softs, just ahead of Max on Mediums. Sainz and Perez 3rd and 4th.

AMG with a better showing at night, 5th and 6th for Lewis and George.

One Haas and one AlphaTauri DNF'd towards the end so might still show some concern for the Ferrari and Honda PSUs.

I'm going to try a VPN and F1 TV Pro, I've set it up with NordVPN and to my surprise although I set my location to the US, the F1 TV Pro pricing was in British pounds. I've only paid for the monthly subscriptions for both to try them out.
The quality streaming the recorded practice sessions is really good! Runs in full HD.
I'm just using my old 2020 4K Fire TV stick as to use a VPN with my Apple TV I'd have to change the DNS.

My aim is try and see if I can watch it cheaper then Sky and drop Sky F1.

Hopefully the terrorist attack a few miles from the circuit doesn’t escalate closer. Still issues with that Merc, bet George and Lewis have a headache after that.

Yeah that's the last thing it needs. Surprised to read about it.
Red Bull said it was a fuel pump vacuum issue that causes their DNF's, now I read the teams all use the same fuel pump that was designed by the FIA this year? No idea if that's true but if it is it could be a worry.

Shame we are seeing reliability issues. Hope HAAS can fix there's and give it a proper go with Magnussen.

I didn’t watch this race last year as I don’t agree with it so won’t be again. I’m sure i’ll see clips here and there on YouTube but I think the sport needs to assess whether oil money is important now in a sport looking to go green. That would be a good excuse to leave these horrendous countries behind I think. Just my view, it’s here now and I hope to see a Brit on the podium for the good of their season

100%

Vettle’s still not racing :( but no surprise I guess if he’s been hit hard with Covid as Lewis was out 2 or 3 races if I remember? And looked pretty bad when he did return, like he should be in bed.

Well for now it looks to be the RBR and Ferrari Show as once again it was those two teams dominating Practice and LeClerc once again on top for P3.

The AMG Mercedes clearly struggles in the daylight temps - Hamilton 11th and Russel 14th - but qualifying will be cooler so that should help.

Very eventful session through Q2, I'm hoping Mick Schumacher is not seriously injured. Never want to see someone have a bad accident but somehow it is even more upsetting when you see Schumacher hit the wall like that. The Haas was broken into two pieces which just shows how severe the impact was.

Hamilton out in Q1, another shock even though Russell made it to Q3.

I really hate street circuits, no runoff and walls too close to the racing surface. Margin for error or equipment failure is just too small, and potential consequences too large.

(edited to correct that Russell made it to Q3 not Q1)

Reports say Mick is uninjured and his trip to hospital was just precautionary.

Ferrari looks strong, but Sergio snags his first pole in the final lap. Max is fourth.

Going to be an interesting start tomorrow.

Wow! Lewis REALLY isn't understanding the new car! Russel is miles ahead. Could we see Lewis do a Ricardo and finish at best bottom midfield this year? Because he cannot get on with the car?

But I'm stoked for McLaren getting back to where they should be, and HAAS, and Ferrari and Red Bull battling it out for the podiums. Should be a great race tomorrow.

Also the new cars proven their worth in the crash protection, looks like they've taken another big step with safety. The new cars are heavier partly due to new safety measures being put in place. I think the commentator said zirconium panels or something like that?

Russell was Top 10 all three qualifying sessions and he was clearly more comfortable in the car based on the comparison camera footage of the two that Sky showed. Lewis did seem shocked at the size of the gap between him and George when the team told him.

Still, the AMG looks much better in cooler conditions than it does when the track is hot so I expect he can claw his way to the Top 10 in the race.

Just seen the results on various social media outlets and am shocked to see that it’s been exposed that Lewis Hamilton is actually a worse driver than Nakita Mazepin. He’s fooled us all the way through karts, Formula Renault, F3, GP2 and over the past 15 years in F1. His career is certainly over and there is not a chance in hell he will adapt to this new car. Oh well

The new cars can take 15% more energy in a crash now, from lessons learnt from Grojean's crash in 2020.

Lewis has blamed setup issues for his performance.
This track doesn't forgive any mistakes does it.

Look at that, it's crazy we now measure the top 8 down to tenths of a second! Micks time is null en void though as he'll have to start from the pit lane as he'll have a totally new car. But I bet he'll be sore tomorrow.
