Ferrari of old would have sorted this situation. Not complaining though as they are helping Lewis massively here. He lining them both up as it stands

Max getting quite emotional in the car by the sounds of it, very frustrated by a strange tyre choice by Red Bull. Why not put him back in the mediums? He started on the softs pre Zhou crash? They’ve messed that one up as he’s heading out the points at this rate.

I don't think Red Bull wanted to do another pit due to the time penalty (since he would likely need new Mediums before race end if he went on Mediums again rather than Hards with this stop), but the Hards don't seem to be working at least at the start of their stint.

I think he can take Sainz. Not sure about LeClerc.

Sainz needs to dial back to save fuel so Lewis will take him.

And Ocon passes Max. Max may be out of the points at this rate since Schumacher is only a second back and K-Mag about 5.

LeClerc is my driver of the day just for his battle with Lewis. Both of them consummate professionals in that battle.

Well that was the best race of the year - easy.

Sainz wins.
Lewis third.
LeClerc on old Hards holds off most of the field on Softs to finish fourth.
Schumacher gets points and almost takes Max at the line.
Zhou Guanyu is fine after a massive crash.

Great race. Couldn’t take your eyes off it. Without the SC would Lewis have got the win? I suspect he would. But it was entertaining throughout.
Well apart from Max whining like a baby on the radio.
