Thanks @mattspace for your help, I'll try this in the day!

But, I confirm that the history and reading list and all favorites work fine and stay synced, but no iCloud tabs at this time.

My Safari version = 13.0.1
My iOS version = 13.3

I've updated Safari with the latest version available under High Sierra and no changes, no iCloud tabs!

Safari version = 13.0.4

Strange :(

yeah, so it makes me think the problem is high sierra and iOS 13 interaction. Do you have a Mojave partition you can boot off to test?

Hi everybody, im in need of some help with a recent upgrade. Followed the guide on Post #740 using the BCM943602CDP card. When booting into Mojave, MacOS starts acting very laggy and keeps locking up. Swapping back to the old card solves this problem. Occassionally i'm able to get into system info and see that the wifi and bluetooth cards are both recognized and working before everything locking up again. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue by any chance? If cards are being read by macos does that mean that it rules out the cabling being an issue?

Hello all,

I am having a devil of a time getting a decent Bluetooth signal out of the BCM943602CDP. I have attached an external antenna, this one, and attached the Bluetooth antenna to the J3, then J2, and then J1 connectors. Of course, I could try J0, but every time I go in there to adjust, I snap one of the damn IPEX connections, and I have to order another pair of connectors.

The signal strength is only good if I put my phone next to the case, so it seems clear that the signal is not getting out of the case. Maybe I just got a bad antenna? Any thoughts?

EDIT: checked antenna with a digital multimeter, and it passes current from one end to another without resistance. Next step, I suppose, is to test the other IPEX connectors.

It ended up that I was sent a bad wifi card. Received a replacement and now everything is working perfectly. Minus bluetooth being seemingly terrible in terms of range to the extend that airdrop doesn't work unless I put the device right next to the computer. Is the trick to swap the BT and '2' antenna connectors?

Swapped the antennas for BT and '2' and it's still pretty terrible. Funny thing is that keyboard and mouse work fine, but things like Airdrop or Apple Watch pairing is extremely flaky and barely works. Is the trick to buy an external antenna? Does anyone have recommendations that would cost less than buying through OSX wifi?

This is my problem as well. Would it help if we got BT dongles as well as the integrated BT?

EEEEeeeeh! I just connected the BT antenna to J0 and this is what I'm seeing:

Screen Shot 2020-01-23 at 9.44.36 PM.png

EDIT: The BT signal is so strong. I'm getting it from two rooms away! For those like aacemyan that are still trying to get it to work, keep trying to connect the BT antenna to different connectors on the card. Also, get a BT antenna extension!

Okay, still no handoff. Do you think reinstalling Mojave would help?

EDIT: Reinstalled Mojave from the recovery partition, still not Airdrop nor Handoff. Any suggestions?

sign out of all device iCloud and restart with Handoff, etc turned off, turn on after reboot .

if still not work, a clean install macOS is worth to try

Hello everyone. I have a problem.I have classic Mac Pro 4.1 flashed to 5.1, Mac OS Mojave with all last updates. I”ve ordered and installed mini pci adapter with power cable for bt working, and ordered original wifi module BCM94360CS2, and two external antennas for wifi and bt. After installing and assembling everything works fine: Airdrop(IPhone XS, xr and 11), handoff, Instant Hotspot, and at security setting I can see menu item “unlock this Mac with Apple Watch. But when I’m turning it on it spinning 1-5 minutes and than says Your Apple Watch can’t connect with my Mac.
Please, help me with advice. Maybe I need to order another wifi card?
By the way, the same wifi card works perfectly at my mid 2012 MacBook Air and Apple Watch unlock works perfectly.

I keeo trying this, but it seems like I always sign back into iCloud before another device is finished restarting. I'll keep at it . . . but no change in the Mac Pro/iOS relationship. Although, I did get my iPhone SE to Airdrop to my Mac Pro just after I'd done a reset interval.

Hi, I wanted to kindly ask you for information:

I purchased a BCM94360CD wifi + bt 4.00 card, and a 52pin PCI-E adapter with cables, all for my Mac Pro 5.1 with OS X 10.13.6

get to the point, the wifi works great .. very fast!
the bt does not work!
i have icon on top bar bt with lightning.
yet I connected the red and black cables as in the photo

the only cable that I have not connected to the card, since I have not understood if I had to get one and make the connection is n. 2 that bt

the old bt card I have not detached it, only disconnected the cables from the motherboard

I look forward to your useful info ... thanks

and you can put the cable nr2 to the BT connector on the card

Thanks IndioX for the intervention;)

I haven't reset NVRAM, now I'm looking for how to do it online

But cable 2 (which I don't know what use it has on the wifi card)
if I detach it to attach it on the empty position of the BT (following the photo inserted above and at the beginning of this discussion)
risk of losing other functions?
and after connection do I function BT? always if the card is not defective ..

NVRAM reset performed and BT remains unavailable ...
I would not like the red and black connection to the motherboard connection near the old Bt card I have not done it correctly ..
