iPhone Absinthe v2.0! Jailbreak iOS 5.1.1

Anyone having trouble installing winterboard? Cydia says it can't comply. This has nothing to do with the servers being hammered btw. It says I must install "pincrush" first but I have no idea what that is. Nothing comes up when I search for it in Cydia.

pincrush is always installed with witnerboard, it's really just Cydia being slammed/unable to pull resources together.

to the people having trouble downloading pkg's just find them in google and autoinstall them or use iFile I already have all my stuff installed and didnt even load anything in Cydia

I run absynth but get error, "Waiting bla bla bla..."

Now i tried to restore from itunes because people report it worked, and always get this error.

I have ipad 3

It seems that Cydia Server is down now because of the heavy Jailbreak of iPhone 4s and iPad 3.. Thats why it keeps crashing for me

That's weird.. I'm not trying to brag but I've been able to install every single one of my packages without fail on the first try :/ Not sure why mine hasn't messed up at all.

The problem i'm having is that there are tons of base packages that need to be installed like mobile substrate ect that I can't get to so I can't install anything else. Along with the usual first day jailbreak problems.

This works for iPad 3

1) Update your iPhone to 5.1.1
2) Download Absinthe
3) Plug in iPhone
4) Right Click your iPhone name and hit "Backup"
5) Now hit the RESTORE button (then confirm you want to restore to factory settings)
6) Wait for restore to finish remembering not to touch anything, dont setup the phone or anything. Leave it alone.
7) Once you see the grey iphone screen with the slide to unlock run Absinthe.
8) Once it has done it says ENJOY
9)Now go into iTunes Right Click your iPhone and hit RESTORE FROM BACKUP.
10) Depending on how much data you have it will all be done once it has restored.

This worked 1st time with iPad 3. Following the instructions on Greenpois0n, i was not doing step 5 and that made all the difference.

Still not showing up lol. I wish I had waited now. I've done this tons of times and I knew the servers were going to get crushed again and I wouldn't be able to do anything. Guess i'll try tomorrow too.

I backed up my stuff (just in case), runned Absinthe and it's all working fine. I used it on my 4S with Mac 10.7.4

I was able to jailbreak but I am having trouble restoring from my iCloud backup.

I jailbroke my 4S then hit reset settings so I could reset phone and restore from icloud it is going very slow and I think it is getting stuck. Anyway to fix this? I don't have a backup on my mac :/

nvm.. When I restored from icloud it was stuck at like 25 minutes remaining for a while then suddenly rebooted and now I'm good to go yay :]

WOW! The fastest jailbreak I have ever done!!
Whole process (not including the restore time) probably took between 2-3 minutes!!

Hows cydia running for everyone? Most things I try to install say cannot comply.
