Agree or Disagree: Watch 3 Red Crown is a Hideous Monstrosity?

I actually do not notice it at all while I'm wearing it on my left wrist. So I'm sleeping fine.
Me too. Do not see it unless you hold it just right. Non-issue.
The Apple Watch is nothing special to look at anyway so a little red dot on the crown isn't going to make that much difference.
I was going to upgrade to a Stainless Steel Space Black Series 3 until I seen the red dot. Now I’ll just hold on to my series 2.
I actually got used to it because it’s sort of out of sight when I wear it. Still waiting for my watch dot order though...
I love my red dot - it distinguishes it as a Gen 3 !
I just received my watch today and I love the red dot.
I wondered if they were gonna do this! I also thought some people might’ve figured ways to disguise it.
I honestly almost purchased the 3 without cellular today, but I really feel like if I’m gonna do it, I’d like to have the ceramic back - I just can’t deal with the red dot. I tend to wear really muted colored bands, and the red dot is just gonna really stand out.

^^And honestly, it is fairly unpleasant to the eye for some. I mean I really want cellular for multiple reasons, but that bright red spot standing out on a silver watch with a light turquoise band is gonna be a little ugly.

No, I know it’s weird but I hate the color red. I won’t own or wear something red. Putting a vinyl sticker on a $650 watch is not ideal. I’ll just wait until they don’t have red crowns to purchase an upgrade.
I get the clashing colors but I’ve not had a single person recognize it ( the dot ). This is other smart watch users- Apple and other brands - some who said they were considering the AW 3 and the did not notice the dot. They did comment on my watch band but even turning my arm to show the band they never mentioned the dot. I don’t think it’s a deal breaker or even a big deal in anyway.
Have not even thought about the dot. You could just get a skin and apply the crown dot if it bothered you that bad
You’re right, but clearly I didn’t. Sometimes I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to search an old thread with tons of responses to find the answer I’m looking for.
