I thought I was going to hate it because I don't like the color red that much but I really don't even notice it.

Not a fan of the BIG red dot. Maybe it would be better with a small red dot in the middle of the crown to denote LTE but doesn't detract from its use. Just annoying when I think about it.

I wonder how many people saying they wont buy either don't really have the desire for LTE or weren't going to buy it in the first place.

I thought the red dot would bother me but i don't even notice it
I actually was going to buy it and upgrade from my stainless S0. The red dot pissed me off so bad that I bought a used S2 instead. I fully intended to spend over $800 on a stainless steel LTE Apple Watch with Milanese Loop and AppleCare. Apple ruined it with the ugly ass red dot and lost the sale.

You know the worst part? I actually love the color red. The problem is that the red dot makes any band that isn’t black or red look ridiculous. The entire reason I went with Stainless is to have MORE band options.

I desperately want an LTE Apple Watch. My hope is that the S4 gets a complete design overhaul and ditches the red dot in the process.

I never notice the red dot on my watch. However, I’ve only worn black or stainless steel colored bands with my SS Watch, so it doesn’t stand out. I’m not much into colored bands, so I don’t see it ever clashing and really being an eyesore.

If I only wore black or stainless bands, I would be fine with it. But I’m a colorful dude. Turquoise band with red dot? Gross.

I can honestly say I don't notice it. My recommendation is get a red dot and try it out on your SS.
the LTE is great and the dot isn't as blaring as you may think

Wear the red dot like a badge of honor. Be proud of the red dot, but do not disrespect the red dot. The red dot shall guide you, and you shall follow.

I think that Apple could produce just about anything and people would buy it, no matter how ridiculous it looks. How is that red dot going to look with some of the bands... like pink for example? It was dumb to make the button red on something that is a fashion accessory and people will be using different colored bands.

I still say the black sharpie is the solution to the red dot.

Red is a panic button color. Or a do not touch. In case of emergency, press this button. It looks like something you’re not supposed to touch.

To me, the only strap I have that won’t particularly work is the Product Red one (too much red, though it won’t actually stop me using it as the dot isn’t exactly visible); the turquoise will look great with it (although I’ll only really notice that before I put the watch on).

my oh my, you are one stubborn one.

Crack open the wallet, order the dam LTE model. Then come back here and tell me I was right.
I've decided that I'm going to gift myself an Hermes Series 3 when I hit a certain sales number in my business (but i set it to a very high number:D). That will be the only model where I can tolerate the dot.

Aha
This will eat at you so badly you’ll get a series 3 before you hit that number.
Then you’ll question yourself “it’s really not that bad why did I wait so long”

I am very particular about coordinating the watch with my attire.
I bought this band today just for this shirt and matching polo.

The dot seemingly has disappeared for me.

Is that the Edition? The Watch body itself looks blue in this photo.

whats funny is all the ppl saying they like the red dot are using red faces on the watch suddenly. Obv its affecting them too when you see most ppl here using red faces to match the red dot. lol
