I hear you about that extra day; I've definitely seen that here. I figured at this hour it wouldn't be delivered today, but the CC option may be the way to go. I'll give it a shot, what's the worst that can happen?
It does say Shipped, and Arriving by December 24. I'm in Ohio, as is the origin, 2.5 hours away.

Apple's website always likes to underpromise and over deliver. Case in point, my recently bought 16 GB M1 MBA:
- Purchased: 11/21
- Original ETA: 12/16 - 23
- Revised ETA: 12/21-29
- Revised ETA after shipping out from China: 12/14
- Final delivery date: 12/8
Great... idk why Apple doesn’t allow you to upgrade your delivery and pay extra for morning slot. The option is simply disabled in the DPD app.

Liverpool here. DPD expected delivery is 13:00-14:00 for me. Exciting stuff

I am in the same exact situation, silver envraving originally Dec 29th and already shipped via UPS scheduled for 23rd. I asume they are traveling together.
They arrived. First impressions: They look awesome. Can connect to my Mac with Catalina. Noise canceling impressive, their sound, too. Directly compared to the XM3s they are much clearer and the soundstage is wider. The bass is impressive and not so muddy than in the XM3s.
As expected, on vehicle for delivery at 7:07. Very excited about these! I just hope they come in before I have to go into the office.
Depending on where you are, this could mean that they will use a same-day delivery service and ship from a local store. I’ve Had this happen for other preorders in the past.
