What's the general consensus on having to leave in the case to maintain battery or not? Are most people leaving them in their cases or leaving them out (say on a stand?)
I haven't even opened the case after 2 weeks, mine dropped 4% over 20 hours from last charge/usage.

it probably may take a day or two to register on apple server once APM is activated, i was excited getting applecare+ so i chatted the support hours after receiving since the serial was invalid 😝. So she kinda register the product and asked for the invoice

i was blue all the way with engraved but green was available at my local store

i have spoken

Yeah I had same problem, they registered them then I bought AC + $79AUD here lol, gee we get screwed. Worth it just got my 2018 11” pro replaced for $65.

I leave mine in the case on a stand and my battery drain has been minimal - I received them on Monday and used them for a few hours - they went from 100% to 93%. I put them in the case on my stand and when I grabbed them last night they were down to 87% after sitting for about 20 hours.

This is nuts. I ordered my sky blue on the 29th of December with a 12th of March delivery date. If I order today the delivery date is still the 12th of March 🙄.
Go figure

It looks like these jumps must be tied to Apple changing their base delivery estimate. Hence why my new order got bumped up, shortly before all new orders reflected the same date range. I assume Apple doesn’t bother to update older orders further since they’ll update anyways upon moving to PFS. Just like Kevcube’s.

I know it feels like we aren’t moving, but something would definitely be wrong if you still didn’t get yours by March. We can blame it on (unknowingly) ordering the most popular colour! 😜

Thanks! I've been listening with different types of music the last hour or so. It definitely is a step up from the Airpods Pro. I also like how my ears are inside the cans completely. I need to sample a wider range of music and songs tomorrow.

I did have a problem trying to buy Applecare+ on the Apple site. It kept on saying invalid serial number. I typed it any number of ways and it locked me out for multiple attempts...sigh.... I guess I need to call them directly tomorrow to get this sorted out.
I ran into the same thing when I got my APMs - a quick chat session with Support and I was able to add AppleCare + without issue.
 
Little story,

So I preordered some back in mid-December on B&H, I was hoping that they'd maybe come in stock by the end of December, nothin, early Jan, nothing, so I cancelled on January the 4th or so.

Well I guess I was still signed up for B&H's notifications to let me know when they're in stock, they sent me one yesterday saying we didn't forget about you and we'll e-mail you every 2 weeks. So I happened to click the link to see what the dates are out to, well... the Space Greys showed IN STOCK! So I ended up purchasing and supposed to be delivered on Feb. 1st. They're now out of stock again, I hope it actually goes through.

i had the issue but it was fixed when i added my purchase date
 
A few random photos from my Amazon purchase last week. Love them. They are breaking in nicely and are getting to be very comfortable.

Got my Silver AirPods Max from Amazon. (Ordered them on Saturday and they arrived today, Tuesday). They were $447 (Used-Very good; "minor cosmetic imperfection"). The Apple box had been resealed but the headphones and case had their wrapping and the headphones themselves are absolutely pristine.

When I bought them from Amazon I also purchased AppleCare. But Amazon emailed me to say no AppleCare unless the device is sold by Amazon (these were Amazon Services).

Checking online, they came up as "not eligible" for AppleCare and I had to call Apple Support. But I now have AppleCare on them. (I don't need any more stress in my life). :cool:

Just the little bit I've listened, they are wonderful. You can imagine what an upgrade these are from my AirPods!

Nice man. Glad that worked out! Good deal.

Anyone update to 14.4 and having issues with AirPods not staying connected?
No problems here after upgrading to 14.4. You might want to try a hard reset of your APMs.

A week or so ago I lost the ability to control the volume with the crown, and my APMs were disconnecting/reconnecting every few seconds. A hard reset fixed the issues for me.

Yea I did hard reset and seems to be working ok at the moment. Now to do the same with my Pros.
