I definitely will, my friend! 👍🏾🙌🏾! I'm going to do a shootout with the Max going up against my current Refs, my Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless, and for kicks, I'll include my wired Sennheiser 6xx. 😀
Ohhh yea, I sense a new photo session coming soon :)

Ordered blue 12/8. Been hoping delivery would move up but it’s been stuck on 2/13-3/3.

originally was 3/3-3/19 but that changed to the above on 12/19.

This is the second time recently, where not ordering immediately resulted in months of delay. Apple Watch Series 6 had an even longer penalty.

Exactly my experience, except that I ordered on 12/17 but got exactly the same shipping projections as you did. Very frustrating to see other people getting sky blue units immediately from third party resellers while we sit and wait. Unfortunately, with the 3% AppleCard discount plus my veteran discount, it is simply not cost-effective for me to try to get these from another retailer. Plus I REALLY want to be able to return them if I experience condensation or battery issues. Anticipation...

Ya, I agree that Apple should be doing more to ensure direct purchases move up in order.

They certainly have financial reason to handle this. I could see some partnerships like with the carriers outweighing that for now.

The biggest constraint on Apple right now is the reliance on cellular data and what that entails.

Just a heads up, Amazon has had the silvers up for immediate delivery (US)

Ah the Sky blue is available at the Apple store 75 miles alway from me. One near me across the street doesn't have it in stock yet. I guess I'll have to wait, maybe it will show up later.

For those buying from Amazon be aware that some of these headphones are returns that were purchased with Apple Care. I tried to get Apple Care on my APM but it was not eligible. I had to call customer support and get everything worked out. If you can't do it online just call. BTW, the $59 is worth it.

I bought mine from Amazon new and had the same issue which was addressed when I called Applecare Support.

Interesting, I wonder if that explains why they would sporadically become available. Guess I should try to get Apple Care on the pair I just bought...

Checked the stock of my local Apple store today and they had Space Grey and Blue in stock. I picked up a pair of the Space Grey. So far impressed with how they sound. They will definitely be the reason why I use my Apple Music subscription more than I do now.

If you buy from Amazon and it’s listed as “new” it was never purchased. Selling returns as “new“ is illegal, at least in the U.S. To buy apple care on top of the AirPods max, purchased from Amazon, you have to verify the date of purchase. It’s easy, you can do it all online in less than 5 minutes.

Hahahaha... The blue, pink and green won’t ship until March...lol
Waiting for the barrage of low cost Amazon knockoffs. This should really be interesting. So many ways manufacturers can go with accessories from skins to those silicon ear cup covers they have already. The possibilities are as they say LIMITLESS!

When picking up my pair tomorrow morning from Target, I will be opting for no contact delivery to my car. I plan on calling Apple and purchasing Apple Care over the phone upon getting them home.
