Yes. Ordered Dec 8, sitting on end of Feb-early March still. Canada.

yup my other pair ordered on 15th January still have the date of 9-16th march

Glad I still have some waiting buddies here. I’m kinda surprised Easttime’s hasn’t moved yet. They’re really trying to run out the clock on your order, eh? Don’t know if you’re anywhere’s near an Apple Store. I saw quite a few of em in stock across the country. It’d be great if Ontario got some.

Pink’s now down to 2-3 weeks, so I’d imagine something should be happening soon. Just sucks for us ‘day one’ guys. I guess we picked the wrong colour 😜

Hi everyone, I’m going to be waiting a while. Ordered the blue a couple of days ago with delivery in late March (UK).

The blue seems to be quite popular. Do you think Apple underestimated demand? All other colours are available sooner - my second choice was space grey and that’s available a month earlier!

Would love to see pictures of those that have already arrived! 😀

I’d say it’s more that ‘demand’ blew well past expectations for all colours. With all the jokes and memes about how expensive these are (they definitely are, don’t get me wrong) you’d think only a handful of people would be rushing to order. Even Apple didn’t think these would be so popular right away. Yet as usual, they somehow defied the odds anyway.

My best guess for this delay is that blue is too many people’s favourite colour. 😉

There are some posted photos a few pages back. It’s gorgeous. Stick with it!

UPS delivered the open box Maxs I purchased from Best Buy a little while ago. The box is beat up, but the headphones are flawless. First impressions are that they are rock solid and feel premium. I’ve been wearing them for almost an hour now and so far no issues with weight or squeezing my head. My only issue is the case. It feels cheap, especially compared to the materials of the headphone. I also don’t like how the cans hit each other when I’m putting them in the case.

case is probably acceptable in the $300 or less range but $500 and not leather (or even partial pleather hah) is kind of unacceptable

Ordered SG from Apple on Dec 26. The delivery date is 2nd of March. My card got charged yesterday and moved to preparing for shipping but nothing yet since yesterday. The pair is engraved. Any ideas when will it move to shipped?

I am waiting, waiting, waiting for Godot (aka for blue AirPods Max ordered from US Apple Store on December 17). Still listed as processing with arrival date Feb 17-Mar 3.
Good news: *checks calendar* Feb 17 is only a week away. You could see movement in a couple days.

Bad news: Lots of blue here are stuck in this March-ish limbo. I hope they aren’t banking entirely on waiting to fill them at the beginning of March.

I somewhat regret cancelling my initial order. Though somehow I feel it wouldn’t have made a difference. 😒

Count me as one of those that likes the case. It's all I need and has a nice feel and a smart design.

(So glad it isn't bulky, doesn't have a zipper, isn't leather/pleather and accommodates extended headphones. If it were, I'd just recycle it the way I've done with other cases.)

Yea its not so much a case as it is really just a quick device to put the thing into low power mode as quickly as possible via the magnets. It does look nice and sleek with the matching color. Its sufficient for at home use but if I was traveling outside the home with them frequently I'd get something that would really protect them.

I found the case to be way better than I expected when I got it in my hands. It is what it is in terms of protection and function, but I actually thought it felt more premium than I'd expected.

Personally I'd rather the high cost of the headphones goes into the headphones, not some fancy leather case to put them in.

My biggest issue with the case is it offers very little protection for them when I travel. Usually I throw my headphones in my backpack when I fly, but I would be afraid to do that with this case.

Completely agree. It's an odd design, but I knew that from what I'd seen on line. When I got it it was a better quality odd designed case than I had expected, and I'm completely happy with what I got given I know what it was going to be like before I ordered.
I'm happy to look to the aftermarket when / if I see a need down the track. For me air travel is currently short flights (NZ isn't big enough for long domestic flights and I live right in the middle of the country) and with someone else when I don't really miss headphones. Once long haul becomes an option again is when my personal use case might need a better case.

Ayup! And I'm checking my account twice a day in hope of seeing movement to PTS. And watching this thread like a hawk to see when other folks (including those who ordered a few days before me) are seeing theirs go to PTS. It's like that old ketchup commercial... Anticipation... 😁

Looks like shipping estimates have updated from Apple, seems to be more variability across colors and shipping times, at least for me in the Midwest. I was surprised to see now you'd get Pink first from Apple instead of Silver of Space Gray.

S - 3/11-3/18
B - 3/25-4/1
P - 2/25-3/4
SG - 3/11-3/18
G - 3/11-3/18

I ordered my greens 4 weeks and 1 day ago, no movement but still hopeful I see something before the 2/23-3/2 predicted timeline.

Well they came in from Amazon today and they are flawless. Needless to say the Best Buy ones are going back. Thanks for helping me save some extra money.
Sweet! Glad that worked out. Enjoy!

And yea I hope others continue to take advantage of these daily deals on Amazon warehouse, the returns are for a product that is still very new and the price discount is too good to pass up. It makes the price of something relatively expensive much more digestible. And can always return if the item is not satisfactory.

If it’s coming from China then you may be up to 36 hours on preparing to ship. Your next notification might be that it is with a local courier and will be with you within 24 hours

After contemplating for a super long time, I bit the bullet and went ahead and purchased my first Airpod Max today! I'm Deaf but I wear bilateral cochlear implants which allows me to hear. I was talking with other cochlear implant users to see if they have liked these airpod max with their processors on. I've seen one cochlear implant user commenting and saying they liked them. So, if I feel like these headphones doesn't work for me with my implants, I'll return them. I didn't want to miss out on the 2 week return policy through Apple, so it made sense for me to buy directly from Apple instead of Amazon, Target, Best Buy, etc. But either way, I'm super excited to see how these will work out for me! I hated using my cochlear implant branded mic which is a clip on that you can connect to the processors wirelessly to listen to different things, it didn't sound great to me and always preferred something that plugs in directly into my processors or something over the head. Airpod Max delivery date should arrive within the March 11-18 delivery date according to Apple!

Awesome - let us know how they work out for you. Apple usually under promises and over delivers, so you likely will have them no later than 11 March.

I will! I’m a bit nervous but mostly excited about the APM. The APM would be my first headphones I’ve owned ever. I’m excited about the features that APM offers (noise cancellation, transparency mode, spatial audio) but definitely a bit nervous that they might not work well with my implants over the head. But I’m being optimistic! The ear cushions looks like they’re big enough to cover my processors and not interfere with the tiny mics on my processors. I’ll be obsessing over the delivery and tracking until it arrives. 😅

Keep in mind that Amazon has a 30 day return policy. A few of us have managed to catch a deal on open box Max. Plus the great thing about those is that there in stock when you order so you’ll get them within a couple of days. So not only are you saving money on them, but you also getting them more quickly.
