I usually upgrade every year, but wont this year. The handset is way too expensive (I always purchase outright so I can hand down through the family etc). Although I tell myself every year that I wont upgrade but end up doing it anyways, this year I havened even been bothered with the rumor's etc so will definitely be keeping my 11 Pro Max. Completely happy with it.

relying on somebody telling you if the ’Pro-Max’ feels bigger in your hand, is essentially worthless. You would have to experience that yourself, because everybody has different grip styles, hand sizes, ect., based off what’s comfortable. I get that a lot of stores are not offering ‘hands-on experience’ due to the pandemic, but if you have a store near you, you’ll find what works for you versus asking random strangers online.
It does make it difficult that all the phones are not able to pick up and physically hold. The best I can do is hold my 11 up to it and compare. I've had plus phones, loved the screen size. Went smaller and liked overall size but missed screen size. I'm 56, easier to read on bigger phone!

My 11Pro is fast like sh..., battery life is awesome and the cameras are excellent. Why upgrade?

11 pro here, not upgrading. Battery is excellent, camera is fantastic and there is no 5G of any kind near me, nor will there be for a few years and tbh Id rather wait to see what reception and battery life are like since the battery is smaller. Also I have a feeling new 2020 tech may not be as polished due to covid issues which are not surprising. I will have a look in 2021 when the newer 5G chip comes into play and by then 5G may actually be broadcasting in my area (doubt it) and any tweaks to the antenna design are fixed since Apple baulked at the Qualcomm design and went with their own.

I have the 11 Pro Max and leaning toward not upgrading. Just not into it this year. My business took a serious hit this year for obvious reasons. If things get better I might upgrade sometime in 2021.

I've an X/256Gb that runs very quickly on the latest beta of 14. It does what I need it to do, battery is OK (87%) and having looked at the wife's 11 Pro Max, I don't see a big reason to hop to a new phone.

I have the 11 Pro and won’t be upgrading this year. The phone is running great, has plenty of storage space left (I have the 256GB model), and I just don’t feel the need to spend the money right now. Also, I’m definitely less of an enthusiast that I once was. I’m at the point where I have no problem keeping my phone for 2 years.

This is the same as me. And need an announcement to see if I even want to upgrade at all

If you want to miss out then that's your business. Apple is raising the bar yet again and I can't wait to see what new innovation they come up with. It's amazing the amount of innovation you get every year, and considering iPhones are basically super computers that fit in your pocket, the price is amazingly affordable.

Good job Apple, keep up the good work.

I'm currently using a Samsung S7. I really want to move to iPhone because I got a Mac one year ago. I want to be in the ecosystem but can't decide between a discounted iPhone 11 or wait another month for full-price iPhone 12.

Either way it will be a massive upgrade for me.

I see no reason to upgrade my iPhone 11 Pro Max.

If I buy a new phone, it will be an Android phone since they have features that the iPhone 15 probably will not even have.

I'd wait for the new iphones to release. It'll give you a chance to see what the new ones have to offer and if you don’t want em, you can get the 11 / 11pro at a good discount.

Switched from 1 generation iPhone SE to iPhone 11, then to iPhone 11 Pro, back to iPhone SE 1st and then to iPhone SE 2020.
Very happy with the SE 2020, no reason for me to change.

Since I just purchased the Apple Watch cellular version, I won’t be upgrading my iPhone XS for another year. Saving some money and having a back up communications if I need it, when I need to send it in for a few days to get a new battery replacement for my iPhone. Two-year-old iPhone works just fine for me and I’m now getting tired of forking over the big bucks to Mr. Tim Cook.

Bold above. Unbelievable, and can’t believe you said those. o_O

I think I'll wait until Apple implements TouchID into the power button like they have with the new iPad Air before upgrading.

Until then I'll just get an "older" iPhone like the XS for cheap.

Yes, might get a 12, got an 8 plus which is now showig it's age, no other reason to upgrade, maybe for 5g, but not seen anything compelling on the X, or 11 in any variant.
