Yep. There is always a chance. Some of my friends who got theirs on Friday said they showed being in China the night before. I’m wondering if UPS is diverting them to spread out the volume of shipments.
Mine has been sitting in ZhengZhou since Friday with what was supposed to be a Wednesday the 26th delivery. It now says “Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time.”
Same -- my delivery date is still scheduled for tomorrow (9/25) morning (9AM - 1PM EST window but UPS usually delivers to my area around 11AM). I'm hoping UPS just missed some scans, or they will somehow deliver on time tomorrow! Time is getting tight though, for sure...

Originally had a 9/28-10/5 delivery window, but UPS says it's scheduled for delivery today. Landed in Anchorage over the weekend, and somehow went from Louisville to Raleigh, NC to Kannapolis, NC (local hub) overnight last night. Wooooooop.
Same here. Ours must have come on the same flight over the weekend. I’m stoked. Can’t wait for it to arrive. It’s going to be a huge upgrade from my trusty 6s Plus.
The phone is literally less than an hour's drive away from me but they stuck the thing in customs from Saturday morning and they just released it this morning. Still have a delivery date for today but as far as I know, UPS delivers around 11AM where I live and the phone never got on a truck. Starting to doubt this phone is ever going to get here. Unless for some reason UPS comes to my area more than once a day. This has been an absolute mess. Originally had a Friday delivery date.
Mine shows a delivery tomorrow, which is pretty freaking late...I don't understand how this story just dropped after last week.
My 9/21 delivery they lost now says a Wednesday delivery. It’s funny as hell those with later anticipated delivery dates are getting theirs before I will. UPS really did screw things up pretty badly here.
This routing is identical to mine. Appears the next UPS leg to ANC (#9105) gets in tomorrow at around 0700 local. The schedule from ANC to Louisville in the past is an hourly run in the am, arriving late afternoon or evening. From there it will be overnight to the final hub. Mine is Richmond Virginia.
I would expect delivery on Wednesday, the 26th.
Well I finally got my iPhone XS Max Space Gray today.
By the time my phone finishes its extensive tour of China I expect to be returning it unopened. Still kicking myself for missing the last XS Max at the local Apple store this morning, hope they get more in tomorrow!
Still stuck in ZZ with no update since 9/22. I ordered on the Apple upgrade program. Just got a text from Apple that I'll now receive texts about my upgrade eligibility with the iPhone Upgrade Program. Since it's already been established I'm eligible when I ordered my phone, wondering if this is a sign I might be seeing some movement on my phone.
I agree. I was supposed to get my phone fri 9/21. UPS then changed it to 9/24. It’s been stuck at some warehouse since Friday and it’s suposed to be delivered today?? My UPS store only gets one delivery a day so I’m not sure when (if ever) I’ll get my phone..
UPS will wait till last minute but it still start to move your package later tonite.
Apple seems to be having some system issues. My wife and I both used IUP to upgrade our phones this year. She received an email stating a box would arrive Tuesday to ship her 8+ back. I have not received that email. I called Apple...they said I'm not in the IUP program. Uh...what??? We have 4 current loans with CitizensOne...if I'm not in the IUP, how did I manage that? So right now, I'm not allowed to return my X and have Apple cancel out that loan. Not happy.
They're still working on it. They said they would have to call CitizensOne to get it sorted out. They clearly don't know what is going on.
How'd pickup go at Northside UPS? When Independence Parkway opened the gate, it was just me and one other guy. A third came later while the rep was getting our devices.
