It clearly states on the email as well as the order page right under the price that you will be charged two separate times. One for tax and one for payment to citizens.
I don’t need to worry bout that paid for it out right

I bet we start seeing tracking numbers shake loose by tomorrow for the 21st group, Monday at the latest. Then the flight watching game begins.

The smart way to go is to buy an unlocked phone paid in full. Less wait times. I ordered mine at 730am and it will be here on the 21stMan, I'm so jealous. Ordered on the App Store app at 2:05 central time, the moment the app let me in, had my confirmation email by 2:07 and it slipped already to 2-3 weeks. It HAS improved to 1-2 weeks, and Sep 28th to Oct 5th, as where Im HOPING for a launch day surprise, I highly doubt it. This is my very first launch day miss, and it took minutes. I ordered the 512K Space Gray iPhone XS Max on AT&T by the way. 2 of them. Both same ship time.
That deliveries app is not working for me. I put in my order number and choose apple but it just gets stuck on connecting to apple.
Yup, I double and tripled checked. put in my e-mail and order # W....... I hit the + then Apple and filled in the e-mail and order number...and it just gets stuck in "contacting apple"... I even tried quitting and restarting the app and hard restart too.

I ordered an AT&T XS Max 256 with a day one pickup.
Because of my schedule I really don’t want to risk waiting all day to get it delivered. I see a lot of people that plan on switching their orders to pickup at the UPS Customer Centers Friday morning.
Does it matter which customer center I choose? Will picking one over another change the date or time I can pick mine up? Will the phones be there Friday morning or could I be risking having to wait longer then what a delivery would actually be?
Thanks for any info, it would be my first time diverting to a customer center.
It most definitely matters which Customer Center you choose. Choose the one that's associated with your UPS Hub. Find the one at the hub your Apple stuff will come from.
Can you expand on this answer please? if we have multiple customer centers- how do we know which one is the apple hub? Also what's the downside to picking say a UPS store or something? It most definitely matters which Customer Center you choose. Choose the one that's associated with your UPS Hub. How do I find that out? Can I call UPS to find this information out?
If there's some question as to your CC, call UPS and give them the tracking number. Ask them which CC it will come out of. You can then ask for it to be held at that particular CC.Can you expand on this answer please? if we have multiple customer centers- how do we know which one is the apple hub? yikes. that would suck if you had to wait an extra day cuz you picked the wrong hub.I think you can call them and they'll find the hub or Customer Center associated with your delivery address. Or you can check an older tracking number and see where your package was before it went out for delivery.
If you choose a hub that's not your hub, you won't be able to pick it up in the morning. It will have to go on a truck and eventually show up at the new hub, pretty much the same as choosing a UPS store.
