Actually most of the air shipments (at least for eastern half of US), will ship to Louisville.I’m figuring phones will show in Alaska tomorrow then st Luis Wednesday then from there to the individual hubs

I'll have to do the same. It's a brilliant idea because I never remember the way things went !This is how scans progressed last year. Phones should start flying out tomorrow(China time) and landing in Alaska just for refueling and then Louisville KY for customs and final sorting

Yes they should be correct haha. I don’t see why they’d give you a random one. It’s usually the one closest to your city.Do y’all trust UPS support with telling you the correct CC? I have two CC locations in my city and I’m terrified that UPS will just tell me to pick the closest one or the wrong one and delay my order.
They told me which one mines was last year and my Iphone was at the correct one come morning.Absolutely not. Those calls go to a call center in the Philippines and all they do is Notate an email and send it to oblivion that’s when you understand what they are saying

Nope.My order is still saying "Order In Progress". I called Apple and they told me that they're not seeing an issue but the only way to know for sure would be to cancel and reorder.... uh?
Am I screwed?
Yeah, sometimes a few go to Cali (I think Ontario or something) to get distributed for the west coast/Cali. But almost all go to WorldPort @ SDF.I'm in Phoenix and my phones have always gone ANC (Anchorage) > SDF (Louisville) every year...
It says date tentative since UPS has to put an exception into the system to "plan" that date for the delivery. If normal shipping times prevailed (i.e. this wasn't a massive launch that Apple and UPS coordinated) we would get the phones earlier in the week. It's a side-effect of UPS manipulating the system based off the product launch. It's normalYes but mine says exception as I’m opting for Pickup vs delivery
Tracking from Apple will show up Wednesday or even ThursdayFinally got tracking via MyChoice. Apple still hasn’t emailed the tracking but they sent me my trade in info. Getting ahead of the ball here Apple LOL
Yea, they usually give you enough time to process either a CC hold or the Authorization release formTracking from Apple will show up Wednesday or even Thursday
They typically consider it "Shipped" once its actually going to the customer. The rest is just fluff.Seems like Apple doesn't show "Shipped" until after the "Import scan".
I trust them. They’ll know which CC your package will go to.Do y’all trust UPS support with telling you the correct CC? I have two CC locations in my city and I’m terrified that UPS will just tell me to pick the closest one or the wrong one and delay my order.
Just curious, is there a trend on the models that are showing up in MyChoice/Reference tracking? Seems like, just like last year, we T-Mobile model orders are lagging behind.
I'm on T-Mobile (ordered through apple)... mine showed up on UPS My Choice this morning. Xs Max 64 space grayJust curious, is there a trend on the models that are showing up in MyChoice/Reference tracking? Seems like, just like last year, we T-Mobile model orders are lagging behind.
Same here, I was able to pick up at CC last year.....when i click on my CC's hours it says closed on every day.My CC location is still greyed out ... just going to sit at home and wait... I got nothing going on anyway...
on UPS my choice, does anyone else's say "date tentative" ...they're playing with my emotions now!!
Something similar happened to me. Except UPS was running late and the phones didn’t get to the hub until that morning. Then I had to wait for the specific UPS truck that delivered my iPhone from the hub to the CC.Not sure if anyone else has had the same experience, but I went to my local CC around 830am one day to pick up a phone (not on launch day, it was like Oct 5). But the employee said I had to wait, they weren’t ready for pick ups yet. So I sat in the parking lot for like 15/20 mins.. hoping that’s not the case this year.
I am going to guess that this is pretty much the same production as the X that the XS is not much different in how its built. Last year one of the production issues they had was the Face ID components. I think that the Xr is being delayed because its a bit different specially in materials and components that they can't build them as fast. That's my take not sure if right but makes sense to me.Question guys. So it seems like we all got 21 or 28th delivery date. Which is not bad compared to previous years. If you remember last year people got 3 to 4 weeks delivery date and even more. Do you think apple fixed their production speed or the phones are not selling this year?
Mine's not even greyed out. Just doesn't even show up to select it.My CC location is still greyed out ... just going to sit at home and wait... I got nothing going on anyway...
NiceWell I got up at 7 AM this morning (Illinois CDT) and of course nothing on apple still preparing to ship LOL. So I go to my UPS account ready to go through the track by reference ritual ;-). And I clicked on my UPS choice (nothing showing on the main tracking page that shows when you click on track) and viola my phone is in system today. And as I was looking at the actual detailed tracking data from the tracking link I first saw it had departed Shenzhen already. And by time I got to making screen dump it updated to having arrived at Hong Kong main airport two hours after leaving Shenzhen. Real movement finally, and like most of you Apple still says shipping is in preparation LOL pretty normal experience. (256 GB space gray Xs)
