Say what you will about Apple, but this is dope.
I cannot think of another company that takes such a vested interest in the well-being of their Human Resources and their customers.
I feel raging against the (even off-chance of) protecting other people is stupid. But then again, stupidity is willful.
Thus arguing about it with those that ignore the ENORMOUS amount of data in favor of masking-up is literally pointless.

It goes back to how accessibility is baked into Apple’s culture and product design philosophy.

Using alcohol spray is a good idea, although going above 90% can be somewhat detrimental as the higher alcohol concentration doesn't seem to allow for full breakdown of the protective membrane of the virus. It looks like the best/better concentration is somewhere on the 70% - 80% range.
The line to get in is longer than any other nation on the planet. The line to get out? Well, that doesn't even exist.
Wear the mask and quit your whinning. There is no proof of any heard immunity as it relates to COVID-19. Thats just magical thinking.
Deal with what we know right now. Masks and social distancing are the tools we have right now to combat the COVID-19 virus spread until we get more/better data and treatments.
Just because you are willing to sacrifice your health/life because you dont want to wear a mask doesnt mean everyone else wants that risk. Be considerate.

I don’t care who you voted for. That’s not really relevant to what you wrote.
Please explain how the left is at fault for Trump’s failure to treat a national emergency as a national emergency. Trump punted. He abdicated his responsibility to keep Americans safe. The left can’t “make” him do his job.
The pandemic hit first in Washington, California and New York—all states with Democratic governors. Trump sensed a political opportunity to help himself by pinning the pandemic response on the Democratic Party. He thought he could demagogue the issue and ride it to re-election.
We now know that no later than February 7, Trump knew full well that airborne transmission was occurring and that Covid-19 was much deadlier than even the worst flu—at least 5 times more deadly. But that’s what he said in private.
In public he said it was nothing to worry about, it would soon go away, when it got hot it would go away, masks weren’t necessary, etc. He left 49 contiguous states to make their own decisions, as if the virus respected state boundary lines. And so much more that was against his own CDC’s and HHS’s advice and recommendations.
All of the above is not to say that the Democratic Party isn’t equal, more, or completely to blame for other issues. But with respect to the federal government’s disastrous response to this pandemic, that’s this President’s responsibility. And he turned his back on the American people in a stunningly craven response driven by pure political opportunism. In my opinion 🙂

The science has pretty effectively stated that masks aren't actually effective at stopping the virus at it's base level, but, I'm all for mask wearing if only for the simple fact that people as a whole are dirty AF. If it can keep droplets of anything from leaving someone's personal space, it has to be better than just spraying that stuff anywhere. Just the fact that it will catch a sneeze has sold me on it.
I don't know studies you have read, but there's a consensus among all scientists that wearing a mask protects you AND other people... and even if you catch CoVid19 the virus load will be reduced, which results in a mild course of disease.
Of course that only works when people still keep distance to each other.... if not, I agree masks aren't that effective.
The white mask on top is a standard KF94 mask you can buy for under $1 a piece. Not everything is Apple-god-made
No, the science has become more and more clear. You’re 100% wrong.
Masks prevent the spread of Covid-19. No idea why you’re denying science but even if you don’t care about anyone in the general public, do you have friends or family you care about?
No one has the right to spread disease, even if they don’t understand how viruses spread.
But even for those who don’t believe in science, let’s just use common sense and see if there’s anything to be said about wearing masks.

Do you see the peak in the US? That’s in late July. Suddenly, new cases start to drop sharply.
But why? What could possibly account for an uncontrolled pandemic—in exponential growth—suddenly taking a remarkable turn for the better?

The United States has 5% of the world population, yet has 22% of the world deaths due to COVID, thanks to idiotic statements like this. There is no way to spin that data. Only here do we have a leader who politicizes masks, instead of it being common sense to be courteous to your neighbor by doing something nearly effortless, the bare minimum, to stop the spread.
That type of data would be more typical of a struggling third world country with limited resources, health care, and public awareness. It is an embarrassment, and history won’t be kind to this failed response.

I am a registered Republican for 40 years. I did not vote for Trump, because he is Trump. Not Republican, not Democrat, not Independend, he is Trump. Working with Trump, for Trump, Trump first. There is NOTHING he would not do to get “reelected” (like he was the first time) even if it kills a quarter million Americans on the way. Not his fault. Nobody told him, they might not have found him on the vast golf course.
I do not live in the US but in Europe right now. Nobody here, not the media, any media, not the people, not the governments, understand this orange monstrosity. The damage he inflicted on the US is unbelievable, the lies spectacular, it is NOTHING like a President.
I went home last xmas and was chocked what happened to the country in just 2 years since I left. I always knew about the low education level, mainly in the south (I’m from FL, Broward county) and in the fly over states, but being sometime away and then coming back, it hits you like a brick wall. The film Idiocracy comes to mind.
However, last time I did not vote for Trump, I did not vote at all and that was a mistake. Because thats how he “won”, that and the strange electoral college that also nobody understands here (what? No matter how the people vote, its 538 guys that decide in the end? They say its a democracy?) So this time I will vote for Biden. Not because its Biden, (although I like the guy) it could be a broomstick, but its not Trump. There is no way it can get worse. And Harris is a smart cookie who might not be to everyones taste (what about Pence for christ sake?) but she certainly is no Trump. In Bidens case the choice of running mate could be crucial and I can live with a President Harris if the choice is President Pence.
It is a shame and it is embarrassing that no one, NO ONE in the GOP stood up and really said something. I’m afraid the party commits collective suicide by binding it self to Trump, live or die. Nobody working in the administration will want to have his time in the White House on his or hers CV. They probably all took a gap year. Who would hire a Kayleigh McEnany after her performance yesterday? Of course really, since she is in office? No, being a republican before was a talking point, you discussed different points of view and had different solutions. Today you better hide that fact, people just look at you and say “what”? This is WAY beyond political sides, this comes down to Trump or no Trump. America or total destruction. If he is allowed to continue, the 5% population of the US will wither to just that in the world, 5% of people that had it all and decided to throw it all away.
A country where, in a pandemic, the wearing of a simple face mask becomes a political statement, can not be taken seriously. If common sense is being eliminated for the sake of reelection, no matter the cost, science being discredited for personal gain, no matter the cost, soldiers that gave there life for this country being ridiculed, 40year veterans in there field being discarded, one can ask the question, if no one has a problem with that, if its worth going back at all.
