So nothing today and no changes by now. I'm starting to think launch will be next week instead.

Could even very well be November 1. it’s a Thursday and it would go with the „Anfang November“ theory.

Not really.
Oh sure thing. Not 100% of the usual staff but more than enough to let the business roll.

Or do you really think, that data centers in Bavaria that serve customers in Hesse or Hamburg are left empty on 1.11.? There is staff on site that does every day business and service. Even service hotlines are ready and manned, product owners and escalation managers are on site or at least(!) contactable. There are even changes rolling out.

Interesting, what do you think? ApplePay?

Lots of opinions and no concrete clues. I trust Rudolf Linsenbarth, but he was shocked by how quickly Apple Pay did launch in the end. Whoever his contact with one of the banks is, they obviously didn’t have the full picture either!

Next week. Anyone wanna bet?

I would say next week too! Apple has never announced a country and then didnt deliver it till the next earnings call... (as far as i know) Why would that happen in Germany then?

The next earnings call is on the 1.11 and not 2.11 so it cant launch on the first anyway.

It's unbelieveable how quiet it is. Apple's doing a great job keeping everyone shut :(
