His prediction of the launch of the Apple Pay page for Germany was spot on. If we forget months ago... I could believe it.

I don't trust him. He's been predicting stuff for years. If it were only him, we'd have had Apple Pay about 4 launches ago.
sad thing is, he might be guessing the right date.

We haven't had any real leaks apart from the fact that banks are given a timeframe. If - and I believe Rudolf Linsenbarth and others here - banks are only given a timeframe and they were surprised that the last two times that date went by without anything happening, then how should Ehssan know that it will definitely launch on the 11th? A launch this week is just as probable.

Also between December 23 and 27, iTunes Connect will shut down and Apple will staff down for the holidays. No app updates in this timeframe.
You can be certain that the last thing happening a week or two before Christmas is launching a new payment service such as Apple Pay. a) Customers getting into contact with customer support and b) IT having to make further adjustments and keeping everything running smoothly - monitoring.

Iw anyone else getting bored with the whole Apple Pay too? I was so thrilled when Apple finally announced it for Germany. But now it’s over four months later and it’s a up and down ... it’s getting to a point where I don’t really care anymore about it. I mean the hype will last only a couple of days or weeks at most anyway after the launch then it becomes second nature. But it’s like the when you were a little child looking forward to your Christmas present. You couldn’t wait for the day to finally come and open your present. Of course after a few days your new toy was not so cool anymore but at least you had that awesome feeling before. But right now Apple ruins the present for me. Like seriously how hard can it be to just launch the damn thing or give us a date. Belgium launched it like over night and we are having those rumors for years now and still jump in circles every time a new rumor goes around.
