Payed at Rossman, Rewe and Aldi with AP and had 0 Problems and it was unbelivable fast. Kassiererin at Rewe was amazed

That is really sad IMO. The same thing happens to me every single time when I present my cinema ticket on my Apple Watch.

Guys, a bit OT but I need your help.

I need a good, new bank for my business (GmbH), since Commerzbank turns out to be a scheißbank after one year of use. What I need for the most:
- Apple Pay (lol)
- SEPA Lastschriften (very important since all of my customers pay via Sepa Lastschrift)
- modern/good usability in terms of online banking
- CC and girocard

The only alternative bank I found is DB. Does anyone have other ideas or experiences with own business?

What do you ask for when you want to use Apple Pay in uninformed stores?
  • "Mit Karte, bitte!" - They know what to do and it's technically right since you use a more-or-less virtual credit card.
  • "Mit Handy/iPhone/Uhr/Watch!" - Since it's the device you use.
  • "Mit Apple Pay, bitte!" - To spread the word and name the payment technology by its name.
  • Something else...?
I personally asked to pay "mit Karte" at my local Rewe, in order not to confuse them and in order not to appear stupid in case Apple Pay didn't work as intended. :p

I would also ask to Pay with Karte.

Yep. DB is unfortunately expensive; €30 per CC, 10 (i think) free transactions per month then 15 cents afterwards, 15 euros per quarter. Their customer service however is quite good and website is also in EN. Only hope is Penta (getpenta.com), which is sort of like N26 but for geschaftskonto. It is however too new so they are still building some features which I consider basic to running a business (no lastschriften yet, no international bank transfers). I think by end of 2019 it will be an alternative I am going to consider.

It asked me to create PIN, when I setup the app for the first time, 1 month ago. And can see "Change PIN" in the settings.

I wasn’t asked to set a PIN. And there is no Place in the App to set or change it.

I have found this in the Boon FAQ:

Just tried out Apple Pay @Burger King and @DM -> conclusion: no Apple Watch for me, else I would buy too many small things since it is so fast.
Btw: isnt there any Sticker policy for the partners? Dm had none

"Interesting" article. Sometimes I wonder myself how they still have a reputation.

btw did anyone ever try apple pay at Dehner? A friend of mine tried it there today but it wouldnt work. With the physical card it did work without problems.

And is it possibly to use Apple Pay for the App Store? Doesn’t seem so or am I missing something? You would expect ot to be integrated.

I read somewhere sometime ago that’s because Apple sees Apple Pay as a way to purchase physical objects. Therefore, you can use Apple Pay in the Apple Store App for Hardware etc., but not in the iTunes & App Store for Software.
