Yep! You can even look at recent online transactions directly in Wallet. Do you know if card transactions appear as a push notification? Could then finally deactivate SMS :cool:

Yep, they've really mucked it up. I can understand why they did it, it saves them money. But the discomfort of a prepaid card has been made just that much more with that utterly bad decision. According to them, they changed it due to "customer feedback". Yeah, right :rolleyes:

Obviously. That's how I noticed it... the card was charged for a monthly subscription by a service and a Wallet notification popped up on my iPhone.

[doublepost=1544612278][/doublepost]btw: I just checked the Curve road map. Seems that Apple Pay support isn't too far away. It is filed under "in progress" in the backlog. Not in the second tier "within 6 months".

I hope we can interpret this as "within the next weeks/months".

Well it seems Apple has partnered with bunq to offer a really good incentive - you get 10€ for the first Apple Pay payment :)

Looks like Amex uses a different contactless system. I am in Luxembourg and wanted to pay with Apple Pay. The terminal asked my to insert the card. I tried contactless with the same card, same thing happens. If I insert the card in the chip reader, it works. Happened so far to all terminals where I tried it here.
 
Did anyone else have issues verifying their bunq cards? I would always get the notification that I should contact support and this is what they told me:
Are they having issues with regionalising their cards or what?

Just switch to a different language. Mine is set to English and if needed, I don't need to wait more than 5mins. As Germany is there main market (and other markets are also non-English speaking - apart from the recent UK launch), you might be more lucky ;)

I had an account back when they were called Number26 which I closed some years ago because I didn't really use it.

When I tried to open an account again, I got a generic error on registration. I waited for almost an hour in their chat and when I finally got to someone they told me it wasn't possible for me to open an account as I had one before because of technical limitations.

I really wouldn't rely on them as a primary bank. Still too much startup DNA for bank for my taste.
 
My boon card just got deleted from the wallet automatically. Anyone else?

Friend of mine told me, that his got deleted and he had to readd. Surprise, you get a new CC-Numer and all the rest is also new. Its the migration to german cards. Dont know why you dont get an email before.
He was even right before payment and had to switch to N26 to pay. so not a real smooth migration :-(

Another unhappy move for boon. I asked customer service (as my card is in Paypal to make the most of the cashback promotions) and they said it would all happen in the background. Removing access to your card without telling anyone is bad.

Then the merchant does not have Amex contactless enabled. The rollout is still going.
