Well it does exactly what it says on there. I think that's on comdirect, as my Amex card shows all transactions instantly (even stuff not paid via Apple Pay or even subscriptions), as was already mentioned earlier. So if Amex can do this, I would reasonably assume comdirect should also be able to do it. But maybe that also depends on the card company.

Sadly transactions only appear on the device you did it with. Theoretically your bank could push transactions back out to other devices, but apart from Amex I'm not aware of any other bank / credit card company that does that. Transactions aren't synced by iCloud.

It also says that right below the transaction overview "... shows purchases made with your iPhone" or "... shows purchases made with your Apple Watch" - check your screenshots ;)
[doublepost=1544649667][/doublepost]If anyone fancies some official Apple Pay stickers, Germany is now available on the dropdown menu...

Apple Maps now also shows if the location accepts Apple Pay in Germany (yet not all stores by far!).

I think it's doesn't work because each iDevice has it's own "virtual card"

And thats the reason. Your devices don't know your card data. They have their decive account number. Each device its own. So technically they are two different cards, even if you use the same "real" card for both.

Ok, thanks! I only ordered yesterday in the afternoon, so maybe I‘ll get lucky tomorrow ...
Does DB have any technical problems? Opened account, all worked until the last step where I get my account details: "Due to technical problems your account isn't available yet. Our service team will be in touch with you soon." Maybe their servers are taking a beating at the moment... :D

It is not only branded as a credit card, it is a credit card. The only difference is, that ING debit it from your current account within three days. So although technically it is a credit card through and through (also shows up as so at POS), it basically functions as a debit card. comdirect used to have a weekly rhythm until they switched to debiting monthly from your account.

It will be interesting to see if ING will switch to a purely Visa Debit card (like with Consors), that's why I put Debit + Credit.

There is also still this thread where we could talk about all the different banks and credit cards available? Terms and conditions etc. aren't really too much Apple Pay related.

But this thread is sure to stay alive, we still have many topics to discuss and coming up...
Apple Pay Cash, Sparkasse Vs. Apple, ING / DKB / Consors et al. in 2019, ...

Sorry for rerolling this but shouldn‘t a real credit card have any credit limit for it‘s own? I have an ING Account for about 1 year now. And the first thing i tried before the switch as main account was, to use the credit card with no money on the Girokonto. No success. With DKB i can see a credit limit assigned to the card, at ING there is no point for it. You can only pay with if there is money on the account. like a debit card. For me, a real credit card has a own limit.

How does Apple Maps know which location supports Apple Pay and which not? Cause not only the official partners are being listed to support Apple Pay but not every shop like for example in my place are two Dehner. One shows it supports Apple Pay the other one doesn’t show Apple Pay support in maps. Same with Edeka. Another shop basic bio doesn’t show support either but I know it works there. Neither Dehner nor Edeka are officially supporting Apple Pay so how does Apple maps know? Where are they pulling the data from? Is it user based?

I actually don’t know, but it would make so much sense, to make it User based. Within a month, we would probably have a 95% complete „data base“.

We’ve gone over this before: if the terminal supports CDCVM (authentication on the user device) then you don’t need to enter a PIN or sign anything. No limit to the amount. 99% of terminals in Germany are configured correctly, some in the UK or France are older and don’t support the standard, there you’ll need to enter a PIN or sign if above the contactless limit (25€ MasterCard, 50€ VISA + Amex).

That‘s what I thought, hence the 1-2 days of waiting for the Virtual Card to be ready. Overwhelmed by the demand, which is a very good sign, I guess :D

My Virtual Card was ready to be added to Wallet this morning, the whole process was very smooth and Apple-like. I‘m surprised by DB‘s mobile app as well, never used it before but it‘s pretty good.
