First time with AMEX, Watch and iPhone are in sync with payments! Nice one, doesn‘t work with my Visa or Mastercard.
Boon offers a Debit Creditcard.
this *nods*Or easier: the real question is not if The shop accepts credit cards. The question is do they accept MasterCard or Visa.

No APC in messages on my watch. AW3, newest watchOS.
No APC in messages on my watch. AW3, newest watchOS.
I can NOT confirm this. Its true, APC reappeared in 12.1.2 on AW. It was gone in the last release.
So, let’s see what the “insider” make out of that.
As you say, you played that´s sufficient for APC to show up if you played with those countries where it is available.I am not sure it was ever gone... I am on the Public Beta Program on the iPhone (just updating to 12.1.2) but the watch (since there is no public beta for watchOS) is just "up to date" 5.1.2 with the normal releases.

I have played with different countries in the past but right now I am all set to Germany
Jupp. Most recent releases of iOS and watchOS, no AP button in messages on the watch. And are you on 12.1.2 on your iPhone?
Independent franchise, therefore it‘s always „bei allen teilnehmenden Geschäften“Just had the first Burger King Girocard only! BK Würzburg. Nürnberger Straße 1

The local franchises are often mostly independent in pricing, promotion, taking part in special offers or accepting payment options.BurgerKing is an official partner. I wouldn’t accept that and pretend to talk with the manager
Did anyone else, who uses VIMpay, notice that payments are still listed as pending after one week or so? Payments with my other card (comdirect) appears as approved immediately.
Thats a good point in my eyes too. You surely can use AP at those shops you go to regulary and where you therefore know it works. But it is not reliable enough in case you want to leave your wallet at home and do a shopping trip in the city or farer away. So it is sadly only a nice tool but nothing more.In fact every of my used stores (even BK) accept ApplePay. But it would make me sad if I'm in a foreign city, order something and could be unable to pay. Even for food that is made for me and couldn't be retuned again. So what to do... I'd be left in the knowledge that _this_ store is official partner of ApplePay and _should_ have to accept this payment method. If this store is independent isn't easy to know...
Had the same problem today in a "Galeria Kaufhof" that is a official partner of ApplePay. Had to left my shoppings for over 500€ at the cashier; as already told I only pay with ApplePay for several years and have no additional wallet. I insteadly bought these things via Amazon with "express delivery" for Monday.
