Ok so seems like some work has gone on behind the scenes... strange that we don't get to see any type of progress (T&Cs appearing / blank screens etc). Either Apple has polished the release process or it isn't due to launch any time soon...

i do get that message for several weeks... So nothing new for me
If you check through the thread we had some cards generate a "software update required to add this card" notification just a few weeks ago.

But it did on iOS 11.4 (.1), which is the latest public release. Not sure what your point is.
That these messages don’t have anything to do with the Apple Pay launch. That‘s my point. You will be able to use Apple Pay in Germany with iOS11 too.

Oh, right... So you're basically agreeing with what I said before.

Apple Pay is mainly server side, so obviously configuration work needs to go on behind the scenes.

Let us face it, Google is no Social Wellfare company. Google Pay also needs Infrastructure in their Cloud, which has to be paid.
I think we all know that google is solely living from selling peoples data. So this does not really surprise me and that's why I usually don't use any google services except google search ( because all other searches don't bring the answers I need), but keep away from stuff like Mail, Drive, Sync, whatever service they have.

MasterCard is selling your data, does not matter if you use a Google Account or not.

Different story in this case.

Well it may be allowed in the US (where is no real data privacy anyway). But the other thing is if this is compliant to EU and German law (and if you can opt out of this here).

Seems that they don't accept copy paste.
Pasted it from Keepass and it did not work.
When I typed it, the field was replaced by stars. So just very poor written site.

If normal Copy & Paste does not work on my Windows- PC I use Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v or in Germany Strg instead of Ctrl

Think it reacts on key press, so u need to press a key after pasting in, then it should work (not checked)

Can you guys tell me which is better according to Schufa score: opening a second account with debit Visa or just get a real credit card from Hanseatic bank?

Can you guys tell me which is better according to Schufa score: opening a second account with debit Visa or just get a real credit card from Hanseatic bank?

Regarding Schufa there is no specific rule that you can follow, as your credit score will include many different factors which are highly specific and individual. But: A credit card (with a credit limit set up) will - as a rule of thumb - drag it down further than just a regular current account with a debit card. I only have two credit cards entered into my Schufa, but have opened 5 current accounts over the last couple of years. My score remained excellent. Were I to apply for additional credit cards, I would most probably see a dent in my scoring.

Another tip of mine: Don't get dragged down by it either. It is no problem to have several accounts and 2-3 credit cards on file. Just make sure you don't keep opening and closing accounts, switch every couple of months and show Schufa by paying off your bills on time and having some continuity that you are reliable. That's what the credit score seems to love most: Long credit history with a bank. Not much switching.

PS: Some think that the bank you go with has an influence over your Schufa score. Commerzbank is known for opening an account for literally everyone, while DKB - depending on which information you can find - only accepts 40-60% of applications. I haven't been able to see this myself. There are some interesting threads around the internet where people compare scores over a longer period of time. But I wouldn't worry about it too much!

I’m slowly starting to believe that Apple Pay will be launched in Germany this month. The reason for that is that there are some major banks in the neighborhood (PKO Bank Polski, BNP Paribas, Credit du Nord and also Revolut) which have announced the incoming support for Apple Pay and PKO has been saying the launch will be in Q3 2018 and since Apple likes to launch new countries and banks at the same time (multiple examples already, just google it), then we are only left with that possibility. It’ll probably be iOS 12 launch or iPhone Xs sale start.
