I don´t think so. Don´t forget the iPhone XR. Maybe they flip the switch with the release of iOS 12.1.

Why should they, it has nothing to do with an iOS release and 12.1 is probably still more than a couple of weeks down the road since we are only in public beta 3 and there are usually 5 - 7 betas before it goes live.

Ok, here you are probably right. I read somewhere that 12.1 should be ready this month. Probably blah blah.

While activating Google Pay for my comdirect Visa, something has changed when scanning the TAN code for the Google Pay activation code: now it says „MOBILE PAYMENT“ instead of „GOOGLE PAY“

Know this because I’ve activated once before already.

When you try to set up Apple Pay Cash your balance is displayed on the appleid website. The currency is USD. So no sign for a start with Apple Pay :(

No worries, this just means no Apple Pay CASH, the feature you use to send money using iMessage.

Don’t want to bet on an Apple Pay Cash launch in Europe outside UK anyway.

Just too few potential users with too small iOS peer groups in which APC could be used.

I was in conversation with someone on Twitter yesterday. They don't know the exact launch date but they were told to prepare for this or latest next week.

Looking at the pic above: Rudolf Linsenbarth's prediction that comdirect and Commerzbank would join seem to be true. My Commerzbank MC Debit shows an empty T&C page, but I can't add it. Very excited to see which other banks will be part of the launch but haven't yet announced it!

Why wouldnt they announce it tho?

I tried to add my comdirect Visa Card and the T&C popped up as shown on the screenshot.

Where exactly did you try to add it? In the wallet up with region set to US for example?

I changed the region setting to US and tried to add my DB master card and it didn’t work: not supported yet, no terms and conditions

I changed the region to Ireland - just like I did months ago to add boon.

Well we know many of the banks that will be there at launch (check the first post of this thread). N26, Deutsche Bank, HypoVereinsbank, Fidor, Santander, bunq and others. So with comdirect we already have the first bank that wasn't announced back in August.

Who knows. But Apple's NDAs are known for being very strict. According to previous reports from other countries, Apple decides on marketing budgets, advertising campaigns and has many strict rules all around PR.
