My MBP 16/1TB ordered on Nov. 16th is still showing processing. I’m assuming it will get delayed like the other ones to January. I wonder what happened to that model in production.
There's hope, I'm 4 days ahead of you and mine has shipped.

Mine is headed to the same place. I have a departure scan from 12/05 at 12:48 AM but still no arrival scan. Could they be doing ground the rest of the way for us? Keep me updated if you get another scan.
Hey UBER, where's my package?

If you've bought anything immediately after launch from Apple over the last 10 years, you are, or should be used to this.
Not quite.
We did not have covid before, I never have the experience having package locked down in airport for a whole week

UPS says 12/10, but the Apple website says 12/14. It's still better than the 12/16-12/23 dates they originally gave me. lol

Hopefully, that's enough time for Wacom to work out the issues with the drivers for the Cintiqs on M1? /sarcasm

Hmm. It's interesting that you have "Your Driver is Arriving Soon!" where I have "Out for Delivery Today", and your latest update is "Loaded on Delivery Vehicle" where mine is "Out For Delivery Today". Does that mean that mine isn't actuallly on a truck yet, just that it's going to arrive today?
Mine is still preparing for delivery, it's been like this for 4 hrs

That's good news! Was your delivery express or standard?
Originally Standard, but changed to Express about a day before the estimated delivery date changed to the January dates. It has stayed Express ever since.

I'm currently getting used to my 12 Pro Max, and all of the horror stories of screen issues, LTE and 5G (don't care about 5G, I live in the country) radio drops, photos disappearing, and it continues to grow. As a bleeding edge guy for over 25 years, I expect it, but you never get used to it, nor should you. After all these years you'd think (or hope) that Apple, Samsung and Microsoft would stop using us as live 2nd Beta users, but nope!

I'm not going to fault Apple for this one, Wacom is notorious for their funky drivers. I'm guessing they won't have a proper driver until Jan or Feb.

LOL. Interesting. Well, I just checked, my order's status has changed on 12/5/2020 9:32 AM, and now it's "Out For Delivery Today"!! I guess they are actually on their way to us!!

I have a 12 Pro with no screen issues. It's hard to tell about LTE since I rarely leave the house with the exception of exercise and grocery store and then usually rely on my Apple Watch. And the place where I live is likely to be among the last to get 5G. So I guess I am lucky and can just enjoy my 12 Pro (went from 11 Pro Max to 12 Pro and love the smaller size and squared off form factor). As to shortages of Apple products upon launch - I have rarely had a problem with iphone or Apple watch since I pre-order them at earliest possible time. It's other products that I wait a bit (even a few hours or a day) after available that I have had delays. But COVID is not helping since at any point uncertainties can be introduced (like the wait in Shanghai).

My MBP 16GB/1TB (ordered 11/10) just moved to Preparing to Ship status, but still showing the apparently erroneous January delivery dates. So at least there is hope. They may still be able to make the original 12/3-12/10 delivery window.
Finally shipped from Lebanon, TN (label created according to FedEx). FedEx estimates delivery on Dec 8, Apple estimates Dec 9.

So in the morning I had the truck location reset to the UPS facility from in my neighborhood, but a while after that the location came back to my neighborhood. I assumed that the GPS transponder just went offline. I tracked the truck as it moved to my neighborhood and the status also went from "On the Road" to "In Your Area" and "Almost There." Except, it never came to my street and now the truck location reset back to the UPS facility - the delivery estimate is no longer 12:30pm but by 9:00pm, which is really weird because my truck was in my neighborhood! It still says "Almost There," however.

wow! that sucks. My 2018 Air is nothing like that. The display is crisp and clear with no backlight bleed. Hope my new 2020 that's coming on Monday is perfect as well. Crossing fingers. So did you order another one to replace the returned one?
Not yet, I'm waiting few more weeks

Looks like the local apple stores just got a bunch of base MBP 8gb 256gb and 512gb base models

no 16gb 1Tb in MBA or MBP

MBP 16/1 SG ordered Nov 12, moved from Nov30/Dec7 to Jan4/Jan11 this morning, but moved into preparing to ship (and charged my card) a few hours later. If express orders really are coming from the US it could make the original date.

Have all the MBP 16/1 been coming from US Warehouses?
I ordered MBP 16 gb/1 tb on 11/11 and it shipped from China (#Shanghaigang), hopefully arriving now on 12/7. Perhaps more recent orders are coming from US warehouses. I am assuming that Apple sent a portion of the manufacturing output to US warehouses for distribution to Apple Stores but since many Apple Stores are closed, they are now shipping those units direct to customers from warehouse.

One of my two 16gb/1tb MBAs that was ordered 11/12 has now been bumped to 12/30-1/7.
Incidentally if you order the same config today you’d have the same ship date as me who ordered 3 weeks ago.
As a supply chain analyst myself it’s inconceivable to me that Apple couldn’t or didn’t forecast better than this. With orders getting bumped at the 11th hour, orders shipping not in the order received etc.
Apparently their ship by dates are pulled out of thin air. Somebody should invent some sort of device that can do complicated maths and computations. Imagine the demand for such a thing.

Pardon my venting. My disappointment is my fault for expecting more I suppose.

My other 16gb/1tb machine ordered 12/13 still shows a ship date of 12/1-12/8 but I assume that will change in the next day or so.
