If you've bought anything immediately after launch from Apple over the last 10 years, you are, or should be used to this.who knew waiting could be this stressful?
There's hope, I'm 4 days ahead of you and mine has shipped. My MBP 16/1TB ordered on Nov. 16th is still showing processing. I’m assuming it will get delayed like the other ones to January. I wonder what happened to that model in production.
Hey UBER, where's my package?Mine is headed to the same place. I have a departure scan from 12/05 at 12:48 AM but still no arrival scan. Could they be doing ground the rest of the way for us? Keep me updated if you get another scan.
Not quite. If you've bought anything immediately after launch from Apple over the last 10 years, you are, or should be used to this.
Mine is still preparing for delivery, it's been like this for 4 hrsHmm. It's interesting that you have "Your Driver is Arriving Soon!" where I have "Out for Delivery Today", and your latest update is "Loaded on Delivery Vehicle" where mine is "Out For Delivery Today". Does that mean that mine isn't actuallly on a truck yet, just that it's going to arrive today?
Originally Standard, but changed to Express about a day before the estimated delivery date changed to the January dates. It has stayed Express ever since. That's good news! Was your delivery express or standard?
I'm currently getting used to my 12 Pro Max, and all of the horror stories of screen issues, LTE and 5G (don't care about 5G, I live in the country) radio drops, photos disappearing, and it continues to grow. As a bleeding edge guy for over 25 years, I expect it, but you never get used to it, nor should you. After all these years you'd think (or hope) that Apple, Samsung and Microsoft would stop using us as live 2nd Beta users, but nope!UPS says 12/10, but the Apple website says 12/14. It's still better than the 12/16-12/23 dates they originally gave me. lol
Hopefully, that's enough time for Wacom to work out the issues with the drivers for the Cintiqs on M1? /sarcasm
I'm not going to fault Apple for this one, Wacom is notorious for their funky drivers. I'm guessing they won't have a proper driver until Jan or Feb.I'm currently getting used to my 12 Pro Max, and all of the horror stories of screen issues, LTE and 5G (don't care about 5G, I live in the country) radio drops, photos disappearing, and it continues to grow. I have a 12 Pro with no screen issues. It's hard to tell about LTE since I rarely leave the house with the exception of exercise and grocery store and then usually rely on my Apple Watch. And the place where I live is likely to be among the last to get 5G. So I guess I am lucky and can just enjoy my 12 Pro (went from 11 Pro Max to 12 Pro and love the smaller size and squared off form factor). As to shortages of Apple products upon launch - I have rarely had a problem with iphone or Apple watch since I pre-order them at earliest possible time. It's other products that I wait a bit (even a few hours or a day) after available that I have had delays. But COVID is not helping since at any point uncertainties can be introduced (like the wait in Shanghai).I'm currently getting used to my 12 Pro Max, and all of the horror stories of screen issues, LTE and 5G (don't care about 5G, I live in the country) radio drops, photos disappearing, and it continues to grow. Finally shipped from Lebanon, TN (label created according to FedEx). FedEx estimates delivery on Dec 8, Apple estimates Dec 9.My MBP 16GB/1TB (ordered 11/10) just moved to Preparing to Ship status, but still showing the apparently erroneous January delivery dates. So at least there is hope. They may still be able to make the original 12/3-12/10 delivery window.
Not yet, I'm waiting few more weekswow! that sucks. My 2018 Air is nothing like that. The display is crisp and clear with no backlight bleed. Hope my new 2020 that's coming on Monday is perfect as well. Crossing fingers. So did you order another one to replace the returned one?
Yes full brightness. But was visible at half brightness as well especially on dark background when watching videos.oh my.
is that at full brightness?
On a 300$ laptop maybe ! I can accept a consistant bleeding but not spots like thisYou talking about backlight bleeding? Dont all backlit displays have it at full brightness?
Ordered MBA 16/2 on 11/20. Still processing but looks like it will ship from US warehouse because is delivers Standard Delivery. Per Apple delivers 12/16-12/23. Let’s see how it goes.Have all the MBP 16/1 been coming from US Warehouses?
I ordered MBP 16 gb/1 tb on 11/11 and it shipped from China (#Shanghaigang), hopefully arriving now on 12/7. Perhaps more recent orders are coming from US warehouses. I am assuming that Apple sent a portion of the manufacturing output to US warehouses for distribution to Apple Stores but since many Apple Stores are closed, they are now shipping those units direct to customers from warehouse.Have all the MBP 16/1 been coming from US Warehouses?
