Winter/ice storms are causing UPS delays here on the US East Coast. So close, yet so far...
My ETA is Tuesday, which is right smack in the middle of ~8" of snow in my area but the snow will be hitting Louisville on Monday, so who knows.
Mines arrived at the depot this morning then at 10am there was a delay. AKA run out of room on the van. Im not even that far away from the depot either!
It’s not as bad as Yodel who have sent a perishable package to a depot in the opposite direction!
Oh, you’re so much luckier than me! Perhaps the backlog is not that bad then and mine might make a move tomorrow. Did you see any other stops between Stanford le Hope and your local depot? Mine is stuck at Stanford as of 4am.
If I were you, I would call the depot and go pick it up myself
Mine got delivered this morning. Sooo much faster compared to the 12”retina MacBook 2016. Hope you’re enjoying yours just as well!
Yes me too! I was on hold to UPS to find out where it was; and the guy turned up with it! Have only just started to set up in the last hour or so.
So far, I am very pleased with how responsive this thing is. Oh and the keyboard, its an absolute dream to type on; just the right amount of travel and forgiveness. I have been rocking an 2015 Macbook Air for around 5 months now so this is a dream!

My two current M1s were BTOs - MBP 16/512 and Mini 16/512. The MBP took a bit longer, almost 3 weeks from order to delivery while the Mini took 2 weeks.

Reading through this thread and combining my own experience so far, it seems like the following things are typically true (now that we're out of the holiday madness but still in the COVID madness)
- Chengdu (EPZ) to Chek Lap Kok takes two days of transit. This makes me think it is delivered by truck or train, since it is over 1,000 miles away.
- Once it is in Chek Lap Kok, it can get checked in and depart very quickly unless your package happens to arrive on a Thursday, because there always seems to be a delay in departure from Friday until Sunday.

Just ordered a mac mini m1 with 16GB, and 1TB of storage.

Update: 19/02/21, received an SMS said courier failed to send cos recipient not at home. Was shocked the delivery came earlier than it stated.
20/02/21, courier came again and delivered.
*sigh*
Too bad cannot wait anymore for any new mac for doing work at home.
This is my second mac purchased after so long...my first was macbook pro 2011 during their launch.
It was a big deal at that time. Hehe
Hope the delivery will come soon~

Just ordered an 8Gb/512Gb Air (in the UK), due for delivery 26th Feb - 5th March. I’ve been putting it off and putting it off, wondering if I should wait, but decided to go for it.

Finally decided to replace my 2009 Mac Pro with a Mac Mini. Catalina has really done a number on it and I didn’t want to deal with OpenCore. Also had to order a new backup drive and an enclosure for some of my drives but I’m excited that it’s faster, using 2% of the power and in a tiny footprint.

Think I've seen a few other people get this - was literally in the space of a few hours it changed. Having spent most of my working life in supply chain, logistics and high tech manufacturing I wonder if Apple don't get very accurate milestone information from UPS. Also, it's still showing as 23rd February on the Apple website, so doesn't look like they repopulate that from the carrier either.

Got the shipping notification from Adorama on Sunday and it's been dispatched already after ordering Friday! I guess they do stock some CTO machines in their warehouse because Apple was quoting like 2-3 week lead-time. Estimated to be here Thursday. Can't come soon enough I'm excited.
