Hmmm. Anyone with an Ultra 2 trail band notice the new band is shorter (compare to the Ultra 1)? Same size band - M/L, but the new one is shorter. Sure, it might get stretched over time, but I remember the old one being longer when new.

My Ultra 2 just got delivered. Watched the guy on the doorbell camera just toss the box... some people take no pride in their work.
Mine came in a bag which means the box inside was damaged. I mean, slightly, but still. I guess this the carbon future we dreamed of.

FYI...if your old watch is running 10.0 it is a good idea to unpair it before updating to 10.01. At least for today anyway.

My new watch has 10.0, I updated my old watch to 10.0.1 before unpairing. To restore that backup the new watch needs to be updated to 10.01. The update goes into Preparing and stays there. Tried an update on my wife's watch and the update does the same thing. I'm thinking Apple's servers have gotten really, really busy since early this morning when I updated my old watch.

So I got my AWU2 and Spectrum Mobile is having issues with the activation. I know some folks with ATT are having issues with their activation. Anyone else?

Arrived! I got the midnight aluminum s9. Technically there are yellow flakes in the band, but it looks more like just neon green and magenta in person, pretty accurate to online pics. Super happy!

This might become an issue ?

My old AW has the latest 10.0.1.

How do you get the new AW to update from the previous version ?

set it up as new, update it, and then un-pair and restore from backup

personally, I always setup my AWs as new to reflect on the settings and learn about options etc ... but that's just me

Silver aluminum S9 with a mulberry fine woven modern buckle band.

I think the fine woven material is much better suited as a band than it was as a phone case. I'll most likely keep it, but it won't be a band I wear very often.

Setting phone up first, then I'll work on the watch.

UPS failed again...missed a transfer in Colorado yesterday evening, and the status hasn't changed from processing at my local Rapid City, SD center at 0752 this morning. My delivery time changed to "on the way". We don't have Saturday delivery, so this will be Monday...I hope.

So sorry and so frustrating. Happening more than in the past (like before Covid). Had same thing last year with iphone. I am picking up in store this year, but I know that is not an option in much of the US.
