Do you plan on ordering the new Apple Watch Series 7 (2021) this September?

I haven't seen anyone post a Titanium date of Oct. All were Nov 1/2-8/9.

I ordered a Graphite SS and it is due from the 27th - 29th so not bad all things considered. I did order the second the store came up and got the confirmation email 2 minutes past the hour.

I would note than not all stores get Titanium. SS yes, but only select stores get Titanium in store.

I asked this question before in different threads. Seems like nobody knows for sure. For the series 6 I found it only on the spanish apple page advertised as dlc. A few people wrote they asked an Apple specialist (whatever that means) and they confirmed to them it isn’t dlc coated. But I won’t give a s**t on such informations. We need an official statement from Apple.

I’m pretty sure only the SB Ti model and obviously the Hermès SB model are DLC coated now.

I am 99% sure that it is DLC coating. I’ve had my Graphite for a year now and it’s absolutely mint. Sold it today as I pick up my S7 Graphite in Friday

Where did you sell your watch if you don’t mind me asking?

I have a S5 space black titanium and the only way I would get a S7 is if I could get a decent amount for my 5.

Getting my very first Apple Watch on Friday! 🥳
My credit card was pre-charged right after the order and will be charged on Oct. 14th.

I am in Germany and status is on "preparing to ship". No tracking number yet.
You made a good decision getting the Apple Watch. I bet you end up using it more than your iPhone.

It has nothing to do with potential buyers remorse - it's all about shipping logistics. Things need to move really fast when launch day is exactly one week from pre-order day. Once a shipping label has been placed on your watch (or phone, or whatever) and it has been placed on a pallet with hundreds of others, shrink wrapped, and ready to be loaded onto a cargo plane, there's no way they can remove one box because someone decided to cancel.

"Preparing to ship" status means the shipping label is printed and on your box, which is why that's the point where the cancel button disappears. It's just impossible at that point in the process to make changes to individual units.
No, OP was referring to the time immediately following their pre-order and has nothing to do with shipping logistics. After you place your pre-order, it goes into "Order Placed" status. You DO NOT have the option to cancel your pre-order at this point. You have to wait for it to change to "Processing" status for the cancel button to appear. This may take a couple of minutes or up to several hours. All of these are way before "Preparing to ship" status.
