Running a first time iOS phone, 13 Pro Max since Feb 2022. Before that, on Android since the beginning. Will NOT move to 15 Pro Max unless Verizon who I’ve been with as a business customer since 1999, gives me one for free with no strings attached. The 13 Pro Max is running smoothly and no need to pay for an upgrade. YMMV.

So my question to you is, what do you really want?
I've asked this exact question to a number of posters in multiple threads & never once have I received an answer.

I think the obvious conclusion is that many consumers are simply addicted to the dopamine hits from new purchases, regardless of how poor a decision the purchase actually was.

From all of the features mentioned in the OP the only ones that might be interesting is the frame design, but who knows because style is subjective. Maybe if the camera is better but how much better?

USB-C is actually a negative for me because that means I have a bunch of useless charging cables. The button, well it's a button, so does it really matter if it's haptic or not? Everything else seems to be just a slight spec bump which isn't that big of a deal

I just left Verizon and went to another carrier and got a 14 Pro Max coming Monday. I will more than likely keep it until the 16PM drops depending on what it has under the hood.

Currently using a 13 Pro. Bought a iPad mini on sale but wondering if should just return and wait for 15 Pro Max which would have a better overall screen (not size ofc). Also wouldn't mind the new camera if I did upgrade.

I used to upgrade every year but the past few I’ve gone two years, the improvements are incremental now each year but we will see

Will keep my iPhone SE 2020. Smaller with a home button. New ski boots are higher up my list.

I have a 14 Pro Max and bought a iPad mini 6 almost 2 weeks ago and I love the mini. I already have a iPad Pro, but I use that when tying and viewing movies. I love the mini because I use it just as i would use my iPhone. Typing is easier now and the size and weight has been awesome. After work I use my mini now and my iPhone during the day.

Definitely looking like Ill be upgrading my 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max. I am loving all of the rumored features. Razor thin bezels, action button, possibly the last year we have a 6.7in iPhone (the 16 Pro Max rumored to have a 6.9in display so Ill have to try out first to see if I like it or not). USB-C as well as camera improvements and various other small upgrades such as processor and modem

With my carrier, it will be less than $200 to upgrade so im excited.

Not upgrading for one simple reason, I have a 13 Pro Max.

Not really sure what I’d be gaining when i have an iPhone that is still performing so well. I’m not seeing the rumoured specs and getting tempted at all. Some people will upgrade regardless but I have better things to be spending my money on.
A tad aggressive. ”Better things” is subjective and it was delivered with a tinge of animus. Tone it down. You do what you will with your money as others will do what they want with theirs. Judgement free zone. Just sharing experiences. 🤓

Agree, has issues with people upgrading every year. He always buys the previous years iPhone and holds for 2 years on contract, so would have no intention of getting a 15 anyway, don't mention apple care or the Ultra watch that he's never ever seen in public too :)

There was nothing remotely ‘aggressive’ about my post and it was entirely my own personal opinion. Play mod on someone else please mate, all the best

How many times have you been banned from this forum now before making another profile, 4 or is it 5 times, more likely more??

Previous usernames Robbosan, Robster3, sonstar, the list goes on. You always seem to gravitate towards me and attempt to ridicule me in the threads, why is that? Don’t get me wrong, it never works and it’s always easy to spot you.

Whoever it is they sure have you triggered, keep looking over your shoulder lol

Probably going to upgrade from my iPhone 11 Pro Max for:
- 120 hz display
- always on display
- bigger screen
- new magsafe charging
- USB-C port
- better camera's
- better battery life

Yeah I know, I could have bought an Android phone many years ago and got even more new features for less money. But it is what it is.

You’re not fooling anybody. Everyone of those profiles is an Australian poster like yourself and have gone out of their way to commentate to other members about me randomly like you have here. I’ve spotted you numerous times now and no I’m not triggered, just amused that you’re so fixated on starting new profiles and trying to provoke other members of the forum.

You've been watching too many movies, strange. You have no cred anyway on here, for years you've banged on about not buying the pro phones, overpriced, don't need the 3rd sense, oled, blah blah, then buy one lol

'For years' yet you joined here in March... Thanks for further confirming what I knew with your rather creepy stalking admission.

If anything I may downgrade. I'm carrying my phone less and less and just relying on my watch for basic functions such as messaging and phone calls.

Looking at screentime my most used app is Books. I bought a new iPad Mini when the update came out thinking I would just use it for reading, but I do like the portability of reading on the phone and haven't picked up the iPad in months.

The "pro" camera functionality just isn't as important to me anymore, as I've gotten back into photography with a mirrorless "35mm"

So I'm thinking my next phone will just be a regular (max? not sure) version.

Given that I doubt it will be a 15
