No reason for me to upgrade from my 14PM. It does what I need for it to do and I don't intend to spend money on an almost identical phone with just a version number change. Planning to keep this as long as possible, maybe 6-8 years.

Can't you keep your current one and upgrade later?
Probably could have... but that was not presented as an option, even when I mentioned my interest in waiting for the 15 to the salesman. (I'm sure he gets more in commission when I buy a new handset, though, so no surprise there.) It's all good, though. Worst case scenario, I find myself performing a cost/benefit analysis of an early upgrade in the fall... and either I keep the 14 or I upgrade. Like I said: first world problems.

I think the rumors of a 6.9” 16 Pro Max and the rumored capacitive button postponement from the 15 Pro models to the 16 Pro models is all the more reason for me to skip the upgrade this year. Not that I’m particularly excited about capacitive buttons, but I don’t like the idea of only getting a half-baked version of what was planned (mute switch change only).

I really don’t think I’d really notice any of the rumored changes coming to the 15 Pro over the 14 Pro. Smaller bezels look nice but you don’t notice when you use the device. USB-C is great, but I mostly charge wireless anyways and still need USB-A for other accessories. I don’t use the camera enough to care much about 5-6X times zoom.

Even if there are significant battery gains, I don’t think that would be enough for me. Just makes more sense (and specifically more financial sense) to wait another year and get two years worth of upgrades at once. I just hope Apple is still using Qualcomm cellular modems for the iPhone 16 models.

If I make enough money in my new job I might do it as I will have enough money left over to live on.

Not sure yet. My 12 Pro is great but I'm sick and tired of the different cables . USB C for all is really tempting .

Yes, i am getting the 15 Pro at launch. I had the 14 Pro Max shortly after launch last year but i found that the max size is not the right for me so i returned it and said i will wait for the 15 and get the pro size instead.

Currently using my old X until the new models arrive

I might squeeze one more year out of my 12 pro max, it depends on how good the trade in offers are with T-Mobile. They better not tell me I have to upgrade to their Magenta Max plan. It's hard to believe new iPhone season is already only 3 months away, this year is flying by.

I’ll most likely upgrade from my 13 Pro because of the poor battery (I’m a heavy user so that’s why). Anyway that will be my main reason to switch to a 15 but Max this time, I’m hoping for very good battery improvement over my 13 Pro. Also looking really forward to USB C honestly.

My daughter had the Essentials plan and I had to upgrade to the Magenta Max to upgrade her to the 14 from her 11. We got a great deal because we’re only paying $4 a month for 24 months. It was worth it because she needed a better plan and a better phone, and she won’t be upgrading until next year.

I might upgrade to Magenta Max, but it says $100/month for one line on my account. But I see other places on their website that say $85. Maybe that's for just new members only. I'll give them a call, maybe since I only signed up last month we can work something out. I didn't do my homework on new customer deals and promotions lol

Edit: I'm an idiot. I had an Apple Watch line too, it was adding that lol. So I want to upgrade to Magenta Max, but I'm afraid they're going to restrict the best trade in offers to the go5g plans. So I'll wait until September.

I would just wait until September to see what deals T-Mobile release, and that should determine for you whether to upgrade or not.

Nope, just bought 14 pro, would prefer foldable (like samsung fold) iphone to be my next one

100% no.

I am sticking with my 13 Pro purely because I seriously dislike that pill thing on the iPhone 14 and onwards - oh yea, just remembered its called the Dynamic Island.

FUGLY IMHO and that is why I wont go beyond my 13.

Highly unlikely

I got the 14 Pro last year to replace my 12 Pro (which replaced my X so I'm currently on a 2 year cycle)

I don't think the upgrades will be enough for me. The 14 Pro just about had enough upgrades that I was interested in

I will see what price I can get for the 14 Pro and see how much difference I'd have to pay, but feel I'm one of the few that doesn't care or particularly want USB-C currently, and all other rumours haven't peaked my interest
