I will be upgrading my 14PM to the 15PM because I use the camera daily for work and every little update is welcome.

Feeling the age of my XS and have been waiting for a certain minimum level of performance, camera quality / features, hardware (increase in RAM), faster transfer speeds, etc etc — and this seems likes it’s gonna be the year when all of those come together.

…So yes I’m planning on getting one — just sad that it doesnt seem like the Pros will be getting a green/blue colour this year like the 12+13’s did.

Knowing apple they will probably make the one they are launching attractive but… still those blue colors were stunning, the purple from the pro was a bit weird for me at first but eventually seeing it in person was better. Im not very into red-ish for a phone, let alone it is going to be a brushed titanium frame supposedly which makes the color a different look than polished.

Lets see what they will do, hopefully they launch a blue alongside

100% will upgrade from my XS Max. I've been waiting for USB-C and a periscope lens and they're finally here.

I probably won't upgrade this cycle since I bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max last year. However, my decision isn't a hard no. If there's compelling new features, I'll certainly consider it. However, I think we've reached the point where it's difficult to justify shelling out $1,000+ every year for small improvements.

My iPhone 14 pro max is fine - I used to change it every year but now really tired of small incremental upgrades so definitely not!

using 11 pro max since 2019 … honestly I’m looking for reason to upgrade … was using shortly brothers 14 pro max … only notable difference for me is 120hz … will try it in store and the decide … I need wow effect … not sure I will get it

Idk but here in some Middle East countries apple retail store it’s very cheap to upgrade. Just sell your old iPhone 14 and you will add like 50-300$ depending on your condition of your iPhone.. less scratch, more battery health is a plus. But prices vary so much.

honestly they are just too damn thick! they need to be thinner! Like Pixel or Galaxy phones, so much more comfortable to hold and thinner for pockets..

My contract lets me upgrade to any phone, any time, without extra charges or penalties so I'll be getting the new iPhone every year.

I'm not upgrading from my 11 this year, this phone is everything I need.

A battery replacement at some point is far cheaper than a new iPhone as well.
I loved my 11 Pro Max but the spread of 5G in my area was too great a lure. My wife grabbed up my retired 11 PM to replace her 7 Pro, which she always said was "just fine for her" when I tried to upgrade her in the past. She jumped on that Pro Max big screen like a mountain lion jumping on the back of some hapless deer! Those rounded edges on the 11 are fantastic compared to the squared off edges of the 12/13/14, especially for one-handed use.

I've never had an iPhone, and last year was first macbook (m2 air). I would have got an iPhone 14 if USB C was on it, so if it happens this year I'm in.

I don’t really see the need, especially at those new Euro price points unless iOS is suddenly going to reveal the most amazing iPhone 15 exclusive features ever. The iPhone has reached its peak and you always just end up using the exact same apps, from the same OS, the exact same way anyway.

The iPhone would have to be a LOT lighter or some revolutionary battery technology lasting DAYS to make it an instant buy for me.

I’ll stick with my 12 PM another year. Still runs great like on its first day. I used to upgrade / have the urge to update every year but the last few years I could hardly pay attention to the keynote. Maybe it’s a age thing. Wiser with my money haha

I've been quite happy with my 12 ProMax -- but I think maybe it's time. Mind you, I won't be one of the early adopters this go-around... but absent any major complaints from reviewers and such, I'll probably go ahead and grab a 15PM around the beginning of 2024. (At which time, I'll almost certainly be passing my 12PM down to one of my kids, and finally retiring ye olde iPhone X for good.)

After thinking about it, I’m going to pass this year. I’m most excited for USB-C but my two pairs of AirPods are still lightning and it’s not worth replacing all 3 devices just to get the same charging port. The 3nm chip, better cellular modem, and increased RAM all sound great, but I likely won’t notice a difference.

I’m going to try to hold out until 2025 when FaceID is rumored to go under display. I’ll have had my 14PM for three years at that point. I’ve already splurged on other things this year that are more worth it compared to ~$500 to have minimal improvements to my iPhone.
