Oh cool, my suspicion I might be getting boned by a port issue might be right. Crud. And they've yet to even get back to me on that; it should be sorted, but they weirdly cannot confirm.
So, I called ATT and talked to customer support, they stated my estimated delivery date is 11/9. I preordered a Pro silver 128 at 805 on the 16th and my original delivery estimate stated on the 23rd. I asked how this was possible if my friends ordered days after me and already have tracking #s. They stated it’s essentially luck of the draw at this point due to stock issues based on your geography. So, look like I’ll have to wait a few weeks for my iPhone even though my friend ordered the exact same phone as me on Monday and had a tracking number. Doesn’t make much sense, but it is what it is.
That's what I was saying on my end to the rep. This process sucks! I ordered 8am CT and fell to the bottom of the shipping queue.
My ATT label changed about 30 min ago to preparing to ship, and delivery manager on FedEx just changed to show the label, coming from Plainfield IN as well. 256 GB Pro Pacific Blue shipping to Ohio. Ordered at 7:57am ET
I have been waiting somewhat patiently after ordering on 10/16 at 8:02:04 Am ET for the 12 Pro in Pacific Blue with 256gb. Finally after returning from a 38 mile cycling ride this morning, ATT changed my order to preparing to ship and Fed Ex Delivery Manager Shows the "label has been created" with a 10/23 delivery date by 9:00 pm. Just when I was losing hope for a launch day delivery.... I have the champagne on ice and await the delivery of my new toy here on the Connecticut Shoreline. All I can say is hang in there, to those who ordered around the same time and hopefully you will receive similar news.

Further update: My FedEx Manager now shows a package from Ingram Micro (Plainfield, IN) scheduled for delivery tomorrow! Woohoo!
Doesn’t seem like ATT was prepared for the order amount. And it definitely doesn’t help when everyone in customer service speaks English as a second language and reads purely off scripts. Appears like your order date is irreverent to when you’ll get the phone.
Yes, it went to preparing to ship sometime this morning and the label just came up on FedEx Delivery manager. No actual notification from ATT yet as far as shipping.

Very cool! Got AT&T email that it shipped (12 pro blue 128gb). Tracking shows already picked up and standard overnight delivery. Coming from Irving, TX to NC. Ordered at 10:46am est 10/16
I don’t think so. It’s either $350 if trade is valued at <$95 or $800 if trade is $95 or higher. For a newer expensive trade (e.g., 11 Pro/Max) you might get an additional credit above $800.
Wow! Mine went to preparing to ship on att website this morning around 1130-12... still nothing in fedex manger or a sms text. Getting nervous
I'd be annoyed too. It would be nice if they somehow "prioritized" based on loyalty, but I don't believe they do (as far as I know).

I don’t think they would either. Though I was with Cingular for years before they changed to AT&T. I best most folks who ordered on the first half of the 16th at least will get it tomorrow.
little update from me! i ordered the iphone pro 256 gb in silver on release day as soon as my at&t portal opened and my original delivery date was 11/06-11/16. as of this morning, my phone was “shipped” and about 30 minutes ago, my ups portal is showing me that the “shipment is ready for ups”. hoping this means i get it tomorrow since i’m in fort worth!
It seems like the blue iPhones are taking longest? Also - anyone else in CA? Mine is still in process gah.

People who haven't seen movement yet, don't lose hope! AT&T's system is notorious for not being updated in a timely fashion when it comes to pre-orders like this! I got my FedEx text yesterday afternoon but didn't receive my "shipped" email from AT&T till 6 this morning for my 12 Pro blue 256 gb that was ordered about 9 minutes before official pre-order launch.
That’s interesting because I live in Philly but mine is coming from Indiana. It’s their money I guess.
