Would anyone happen to know if Wal-Mart does a midnight release of the Apple Watch? I'm very tempted to head there at midnight and ask (it's a country store by all accounts, even Black Friday isn't crowded comparatively), or try my luck at AT&T/BB when they open before accepting defeat.

So lame. Wonder if I'll have any luck stopping by the local Apple Store tomorrow.
Not if you want a stainless model. Based on all the anecdotal evidence there will be no Stainless Apple watches available for sale tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen a single person say they ordered a stainless or SBSS watch that will be getting it tomorrow. The will have plenty of aluminums for sale, but no Stainless.

So my order won't ship and come tomorrow but Best Buy had it available for pick up tomorrow so I placed an order for pick up. Sport band not the sport loop I wanted but bands are cheap and I can't pick it up on the weekdays :(. Never buying from Best Buy again.

I'm doing the same. And Best Buy can eat the cost of selling it as an open-box item when I return it as soon as the Watch they promised me on release date arrives.

If it is a cellular model they charge $35 if opened. This is if you activated it or not. So make sure it is GPS only if you want to return without fees.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm actually coming from a Series 3 cellular to a GPS only Series 4. I wear it everyday and think I've used it in cellular mode one time in the entire year I've had it.

I did the exact same lol, especially since the price went up. I was like I def don’t need this cellular, only used it two times or so on my series 3. And it’s extremely rare I don’t have my phone. Plus I spent the extra coin on XS Max 512 gold. I just wish I didn’t hesitate when sales opened thinking about if I wanted the new watch or not. Should of just pulled the trigger with Apple. Suppose we will all get our watches eventually, just the wait and way bb sold it to us is kinda screwed up.

If it says in store the 21st, you’ll probably get it. But about paypal, unlike a credit card most online sites put the charge on when you order instead of when it ships, ready for pickup, etc..

Fingers crossed!

Same. I originally thought I'd carry my phone around less with the cellular Watch, but that turned out not to be the case. So I wasted money on the Watch and carrier fees.

Stainless or just aluminum?

SS or Sport?
Just aluminum at all of the stores in my area. Just double-checked and the regular sport band is actually available at every major store in Virginia and Maryland for pickup tomorrow.

Same here in Nevada. I’ve accepted the fact that I won’t see it tomorrow and that BB doesn’t know what it’s doing. Hopefully it doesn’t arrive to the store after I go on vacation the last day of the month.

From all accounts, if you ordered an Aluminum GPS watch with a sport band (not sport loop), you'll be able to get it from Best Buy tomorrow. All other models will be available later on down the line.

This is what I'm seeing too. It's a shame that the hold up is simply the loop, not the Watch itself. Guess I'm getting a Sport Band tomorrow until my Sport Loop arrives.

44mm Sport loop, aluminum. Seems Best Buy may have those in stock, may stop in there first. Should’ve ordered a sport band one.

My order for SS 44mm Watch is still in the pre-order phase, however it looks like I can’t make changes to it, hopefully that’s a good sign. Still no charge to my credit card.

The inability to make changes has been that way since the day of pre order. At least for me.

My wife decided she wanted a gold aluminum model to replace her Series 0 too so I ordered hers for pickup and ordered myself a 44 SG aluminum with sports band instead of the loop. If my model with the loop ships before Saturday I can return the in store order.

I couldn't make any changes right after I bought it, that doesn't mean anything, I just got off the phone with BB, they now are telling me 10 to 15 working days for the SS model.. I just canceled the order, sorry but they need to get their **** together to earn my business.
