Best Buy Pre Order for Series 4 Apple Watch?

So did Best Buy overestimate their initial allotment from Apple? Or did Apple promise Best Buy more watches than they had available? I'm betting the former because Apple is known for underpromising and overdelivering when it comes to supply.
Well, I hear the click of many BestBuy SS Orders being canceled right now. lol
If my Apple order, which went to preparing to ship earlier today, ships before Beat Buy I’ll cancel it ASAP.
I’m surprised that the SS models are harder to get. I know this forum is just a sample but it seems that SS is more popular. But maybe in general Apple makes more aluminium models available at launch because overall, more people choose the less expensive option.
Mine just says preordered also. It's frustrating. also waiting for a teardown with baited breath.
I am thinking positive and expect them to ship tomorrow and arrive on Monday or Tuesday.

yeah idk what is happening. Kinda disappointing with the lack of info. I ordered from BB about 5-10 mins after midnight on the 14th. Looked like it was set for deliver on 21 based on the est. Since then no shipping notification and the pre auth was returned back to my card. sooo I'm guessing no watch tomorrow. If that's the case that really stinks. I called Elite Plus customer care and they didn't have a clue either...

Yeah. Same thing here on my end. Money returned but says shipped by 9/21. I called Best buy and lady even said the phones are seeing delays. Kinda makes me upset. Should of ordered from Apple. Now I'm not sure what to do...

Yeah same here very annoyed I found this out last minute and I work tomorrow....
It’s the just the authorization amount falling off, which they automatically do after a few days unless the store purposely keeps it active.
The money was never taken, it can’t be given back.
We all want our watches. But let's put it in perspective. Lots of people can't afford a watch nevermind a iPhone. We are spoiled brats because we want it on day 1. Some people live on the street. Gosh who am I right now. Haha
lol i just want mine before i leave for cancun monday other wise i can cancel it and reorder when i get back

gotta keep perspective. In 2 years it won't be worth more than 80 bucks if that. It's just stuff.
But I would love to get it when they promised though. Hopefully Best Buy will be good about preorders and at least compensate with GC etc. my local Best Buy store is amazing. Great people
