Yep. My GB5 scores are down about 30% for single core, 50% for multi core. Contacted Apple support about this. They claimed to have not heard about any issues.

Well looking at the poll results, only 27% of 416 people are affected.
Yes according to poll 1 in 4 experience this issue, I have told apple about it aswell

Edit: Mine was fixed first with Reset and restore all settings, then I had to dfu restore because I tried to update back to 14.5 and got stuck in recovery mode and the issue is still gone since a week back now

Check Metal score too. Mine was near 50% down. With the GPU throttled it made things a feel slower like animations.

My mental score is 7326. It was 7396 in Februar, I don’t see that as a big en drop to be that concerned. The wide variation between users indicates that it might not be ios related, but a setting or another app.

Spent the 99 cents to confirm my device is not affected

I actually rolled back to 14.5 now, my phone throttles today again after a week

What’s your battery charge when doing the benchmark ? Back when I had my 6s, it would throttle when battery charge got to a low percentage even with low power off.

Above 80%, like 84 or something, even does this while charging, its probably a power management bug as someone mentioned earlier, its not present in 14.5 though only 14.5.1 and 14.6 b2

When I tested my phone it was only lightly throttled multi-core and it wasn't noticeably worse in general use. I would hazard that some of the people who voted no may actually be throttled without knowing and simply haven't been able to use something like Geekbench to verify.

Interestingly running Geekbench at 100% battery it was throttled but at only 23% it was running at full speed, no reboots.

Question is, how to know if it's throttled.
My results match Geekbench list, but are these correct.

Not really affecting me, just interested to know.

I have not had any overheating problems, but I have certainly noticed multi-thread slow down.

With A12Z and A14 both. :-(

There must have been a serious enough security problem to have introduced this, and I look forward to a future fix that puts us back where we should be.

Geek whatever doesn’t interest me. If it is abnormally slow on even basic graphic OS effects then there’s a problem, period.
All else is blah blah.

I don’t play with my phone, I don’t know anything about frame rates, etc. I couldn’t care less.
But when my phone stops being snappy to the point of opening a blank page on Mail or Safari and wait 4 seconds before I can do anything, then wait again for the keyboard to pop up, there’s a problem.

And is that what it’s doing?
