Thanks. Gonna download it when it’s public.Apparently it’s been fixed on the latest beta that was released today.

Thanks for uploading, looks like beta 3 is a no go for me, apple has been really sloppy lately, might as well start calling them Samsung/android.Still got the issue with multicore perf on beta 3.
Would love to hear your response to the 14.6 beta 3 release notes. This is well known everywhere outside of this thread. The Geekbench app has not returned consistent results in back to back tests since iOS 14.
As usual the Macrumors doomers are clueless.
Make a second attempt and… it’s seems fine after 2 reboot. Thanks for uploading, looks like beta 3 is a no go for me, apple has been really sloppy lately, might as well start calling them Samsung/android.
Might want to try a settings reset. Don’t wipe, just settings. Might help. I really don’t know for sure but if apple did fix the issue, might be something lingering in the config files that lurk within the OSStill got the issue with multicore perf on beta 3.
Well, looks like it’s not fixed yet good still promising because today’s highlights at least show apples awareness to the issue.Heads up, removed 14.6 beta 3 profile, phone restarted, multi core score went back down, turned phone off for 30 seconds, scores back to normal now.
Don’t restart your phone unless it’s urgent.
Strange one, it kind of is fixed and it kind of isn’t 🤦♂️😂Well, looks like it’s not fixed yet good still promising because today’s highlights at least show apples awareness to the issue.
Or just disable automatic update.Apple Stops Signing iOS 14.5 Following Bug Fix iOS 14.5.1 Release
Following the release of iOS 14.5.1 last week, Apple has stopped signing iOS 14.5, the previously available version of iOS 14 that was released in late April. With iOS 14.5 no longer being signed, it is not possible to downgrade to iOS 14.5 if you've already installed iOS 14.5.1. Apple...forums.macrumors.com
Anybody who didn’t downgrade is now stuck
What? I’m saying if your on 14.5.1 and didn’t downgrade your stuck. You can’t go back. This was a method to fix the throttling that many on this board used, the only one with 100% success, and its now unavailable. Obviously if your on 14.5 turn off auto updates.Or just disable automatic update.
Holy..i just downloaded the ipsw file today for rolling back and itunes keeps giving me error 3194. Unlucky for me.Quite possibly. Just thought I’d throw it in the ring as it seems to have rectified my device, at least for now. Nearly 24 hrs and all GB tests back to normal so I’m happy. Fully intend to keep an eye on this thread though. Just in case…
Yeah looks like your best bet now is a restore and backup even though that isn’t working for everybody. Some of my friends just did what you

Gonna try 14.6 beta 3 now. Restore seems like waste of time.Yeah looks like your best bet now is a restore and backup even though that isn’t working for everybody.
Yeah I hadn’t checked in today much but looks like that’s another option that recently became available. Ever since I downgraded I’ve just waited for a new updateGonna try 14.6 beta 3 now. Restore seems like waste of time.
Programming is funny like that. It is possible that apple only partially fixed the issue. It is also possible that when I squished one bug, one more bug was born. Here is hope to b4 being the cure for this nightmare. HahaStrange one, it kind of is fixed and it kind of isn’t 🤦♂️😂
Because its simple. Your phone isn't being throttled. Once someone tells you it is, you suddenly notice things that are in no way related, but anecdotal enough for misguide forum witch hunts.
Update to 14.6 public beta 3, if you’re still experiencing throttling after updating to 14.6, turn off your phone for 30 seconds or more and your throttling issues will be gone.I too can confirm that I am suffering this issue.
However I have to ask is anybody else having the issue whereby your screen will dim as if the phone is overheating even though it doesn’t feel overly warm and you aren’t doing anything particularly strenuous?
I have my screen set to 100% brightness with auto brightness disabled due to suffering from PWM headaches, I use a 100% white point reduction when I am in a dim room and this has been working well for me.
However recently I’ve noticed the screen will randomly just dim for no reason, then go bright again and then go dim again and it’s not the slow fade you get with auto brightness it’s the harsh drop you get when your phone is overheating. This morning it was just by scrolling Twitter which isn’t a particularly demanding task, however with this reduced performance I suspect it’s related.
